I think I know the reason for Baa rejecting Jaimati Ben's daughter. I think Shilpa got pregnant with Harshad's child before marriage so Baa had to get them married. She didn't tell this to anyone because of the parivar's izzat and stuff. This will also reveal that secret about "laal kitab" that someone in this family had a kid before marriage.

Seems like the marriage being cancelled had more to do with Jaimati ben's daughter. Ba's character is shown as strong and wise, so it is unthinkable that she would be so ruthless as to go to the girl's house and cancel the marriage when the wedding cards have been distributed and give no appropriate reasons for her decision. The fact that she refused to disclose the reason seemed more like she was protecting the girl. Otherwise, she would come across as someone selfish and hardhearted who had no qualms about humiliating a girl's family. But, ba is definitely not like that, she is in fact loving, kind, caring and sensitive to other people's feelings.

I guess this might be the case!
Baa would not do that for her own 'Parivar's izzat' but she we do this for some other's parivar's izzat.. aka Jaymatiben's daughter.

I think she will come on award day and will revel everything.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I think that Baa did all this for Jaymatti's daughter .... Baa and her family can't be shown to be wrong in this drama. The most probably reason for breaking the marriage is that Jaymaati's daughter loved somone else and she wanted to get married to him but she was (maybe) afraid of telling this truth to her mom (Jaymatiben) because she already arranged the marriage with Harshad ... so her daughter didn't have the courage to tell this to her mom because her mother has already given a promise to Baa.

And remember what Jaymattiben said to Baa in the episode "It was good that her daughter didn't get marry in her family and she has a very happy life now" ... so its like that her daughter is happy with the person she wanted to be with (instead of Harshad).

Also, Jaymaatiben said so much to Baa like" your daughter (Baby) didn't get marry yet ... so its a punishment from God" .... and when Baa heard this, she kind of got shocked ... My guess is like that Baa is thinking that she saved Jaymattiben's daughter and Jaymatti is saying so much about her daughter's luck and stuff like that.

Anyways, this is my thinking which I wanted to share with you guys but we can't be sure of anything, but wait for the next week.

i guess it is possible that he liked shilpa before but i also think that the whole secret has something to do with jaymati ben's daughter herself - she could've liked someone else and this way this secret could actually help jaymati ben realize that really "baa is baa" and as mota bhai says "she can never be wrong"😊

i don't think Baa herself would ever come up and say nor Jaymatee ben's daughter. so it has to be someone like Baby or Praveena. I guess most valid assumption can be that Baby would hear someone discussing on it, as Baby has already tried to look for the diary, right?

Or it would be Jaymateeben herself would hear her daughter say thanks to Baa.
