They were best buddies turned foes in Onir's last film BAS EK PAL which released last year. And now they have been forced by box office dynamics to clash this Friday.

Jimmy Sheirgill and Sanjay Duri came up with superb award winning performances in BAS EK PAL which unfortunately didn't create any ripples at the box office. Now the two would be featuring as the leads in DELHII HEIGHTS and SAY SALAAM INDIA respectively. While DELHII HEIGHTS is a film primarily targeted at the multiplex audience and tell a sweet-n-bitter tale of cosmopolitan India, SAY SALAAM INDIA is about the game of cricket and how sheer willpower, hard work, determination and the right attitude is eventually the final winner.

Both Jimmy and Sanjay are hopeful about their films. Says Jimmy, "It is a sweet film and has been acknowledged for the fresh vibes it is giving. The songs have caught on too which is an added advantage. Director Anand Kumar has really done a very fine job."On the other hand Sanjay Suri is not disheartened by the poor show of Indian cricket team. He says, "See SAY SALAAM INDIA was always about the win of an underdog. Yes, we were of course hoping for Indian team to reach the further stages of the World Cup but then our film has it's own merits and the messaging that you would realize once you see the film."

And what is this messaging about? "The film clearly calls out that you never know how the tables may turn and the underdog turns out to be the final winner. Complacency is out and hard work is in. Probably that is what works for SAY SALAAM INDIA too and hence makes it a real life entertaining experience," concludes Sanjay with a smile.
