Importance of Communication

Communication is paramount for any relationship, particularly between husband and wife. Most serials show what happens when important things are hidden from the significant other. SR is another example.

Suman should have confided in Rajeev, not only what had happened to Tanu but also how Shalaka keep taunting her. Together they can find a solution to the problem.

It may be more difficult to confide about Prem. But then since she knows Rajeev's character by now she should not hesitate in telling about him too. She can make him understand that she did not deliberately set out to deceive him. She could remind him of the many times when she tried to tell him before the marriage but how circumstances did not allow her to. But for this she has to first confront her own feelings for Prem. Going by his behaviour lately she should realise she is better off without him.

Well if everything happens according to this we may not have a story. Maybe that is why they always show characters hiding things from each other. Personally I find it ery difficult to keep a secret. so cannot understand others who do.

i totally agree with optimist. in the husband wife relationship, there is always mis-communication or no communication. that is why you see lot of divorces going on.

I dont know how Suman will handle two secrets to rajiv in her life? one is out about tanu and another of prem. I belive Suman is going to wait will six months and then reveal about prem and her relationship. Suman wont tell at the moment coz at the moment.

u r so right. communication is must between husband and wife. by which your relationship's bonding become more stronger. but problem is if serial's heroines dont hide anything from their husbands, we wont have the story.

i agree that no matter wife shouldn't hide anything from husband. sometimes it may happens that for some reason and for the benefit of others, you have no choice but to hide the thingfrom him.

here suman share a special relation with rajiv. their relation is not a typical wife-husband relation. reason we all know. "suman's past". here it is more of suman's duty & responsibility than rajiv that their married life goes smoothly. because suman knows under which circumstances she got married to rajiv. rajiv dont know anything about it. so his behaviour and reaction comes
in a natural way with suman. if suman wants that their marriage life goes smoothly, she should not hide anything from rajiv. not a big thing and not a small thing. on the contrary she should take rajiv into confidence in every matter. as i said suman's intension was not wrong but the way she choose to solve the matter is wrong.
