Are you really comparing a full out and out commercial film like Crew with dance numbers, comedy, to a dark English film that was streamed at a festival? Come on now. From the very beginning we all have said this movie should be going straight to ott. Also, ekta herself couldn’t be least concerned coz during the trailer launch she said the movie had recovered all costs from satellite rights etc. I think this half hearted release was just a formality.

I don’t know if I believe this narrative of “the film didn’t do well cuz it’s in English”

Is that a valid reason? So many English language films do incredible business in India. I am sorry but that’s not really a valid reason.

Maybe it's also the genre that doesn't make people leave the comfort of the home and/or spending money... thrillers are quite close to what r e a l l y happens in people's lives and could give less of 'escape' through the imaginary...

Nope not even SRK or Aamir, only with one and only Shraddha kapoor

Begum was brilliant , she was sans makeup throughout the film , her performance comes as raw and hard hitting . TOP!! But the film was let down for me 😞damn so much potential it had . Watch it only for kareena performance.
