Itโ€™s time for the El Classico of IPL. Five-time IPL champions vs Five-time IPL champions - will lock horns tonight at the Wankhede! After losing their first three matches of the season, Mumbai Indians have won two on the bounce. They posted a massive first innings total against Delhi Capitals, while chased down 195-odd against Royal Challengers Bangalore within 16 overs. With two consecutive wins at home, the Mumbai Indians are on the charge. Can they keep the winning momentum intact though? Would have been an easy task against any other side, but not against their opponents tonight - the Chennai Super Kings.

Chennai have been unbeaten at the Chepauk this season, but itโ€™s the away games where they have struggled to get going. However, Ajinkya Rahane, Shivam Dube, Tushar Deshpande and Shardul Thakur - all of them are Mumbai boys, hence theyโ€™ll be pretty accustomed to playing in these conditions at the Wankhede. Nothing alien for them. How can one forget the kind of support MS Dhoni gets all across the country? With such a massive fan following, CSK can make any stadium turn yellow. Will they be able to clinch their first away win of the season, or will Mumbai Indians make it three in a row? We shall find out soon, stay around for the toss and teams..

Ravindra Jadeja: On this ground even the good balls can go the distance. Need to identify batter's strengths and bowl accordingly to avoid conceding boundaries at this venue. Got to stick to my plan against a particular player and set the field accordingly. The defeats we have conceded have been close games, haven't lost them by big margins. If you play good cricket, play your shots, any target is possible here. You'll get to see a good contest as Mumbai Indians are a very good team. There are not many meetings or discussions when we play MI, this rivalry is hyped I think. Just need to focus when we are on the field.

This may be an away game for CSK alright, but the likes of Shivam Dube, Shardul Thakur, Ajinkya Rahane, Tushar Deshpande will all feel at home. But there's little doubt the cheer will possibly be the biggest for another Mumbaikar. They call him Surya dada, who lit the scene with a magical knock against RCB the other night.

It's El Classico time! Welcome to a brand new chapter of this fascinating rivalry between the two most-storied IPL teams with two brand new captains looking to lay the foundation of a new era.

The change of guard at the top for Mumbai Indians has been a touch controversial, whereas it's been a lot more organic for Chennai Super Kings. But now we're almost halfway into the competition and the ringing boos are slowly, but surely beginning to be replaced with applause as Mumbai have begun a climb up the ladder.

Pitch Report: Terrific game in store with two of the most successful teams in the IPL. The expectation is for a lot of power hitting because the pitch we are on has the same dimensions as the RCB vs MI game. The shorter boundary to the left is only about 59m, and it is 65m to the right. The previous game here was a high scoring game, but when you venture longer into the tournament the wickets tend to play a bit differently. This surface is a lot drier and when you use the same pitch consecutively then the wicket will show some semblance of dry patches. It still looks a beautiful wicket, not a wicket where you get rolled over for a 100 odd runs. There will be runs but today we could see the spinners play in the powerplay. They are spraying some anti-dew substance onto the outfield, but dew could play a factor. You certainly want to be chasing on the surface, suggests Ian Bishop and Kevin Pietersen

There has been plenty of chatter around Ishan Kishan, ever since he decided to opt out of the Test series in South Africa in December. All along, there has been stoic silence from the man himself. But the other night, after his blitzkrieg against RCB, he spoke for the first time about his long absence and his time away.
