Well he did create the brand Shaktiman. He's entitled to have an opinion about how his brand should be taken forward.

If image of a certain hero doesn't affect the role he's selected to play then why people have objections to Ranbir playing Ram in Ramayan.

Even in the progressive Hollywood, adult movie stars are rarely given big roles in mainstream movies. Why? Just because they can't act or because of their previous work?

well, he isn't the one deciding who is doing the film, sony pictures is producing it, and ranveer is doing the movie, he has signed it

And the photoshoot was done nearly two years ago, in mid 2022, why is he talking about it now? and seriously what is the big deal about the photoshoot? Okay you may not have liked it, but now saying ranveer shouldn't play shaktimaan because of it is just so stupid, he is an actor, and his job is to act in many different roles. 

And looking at the video it seems mukesh khanna is just upset that he is not connected to the upcoming shaktimaan movie, and so is venting out his anger, he seems butt hurt more than anything, like he still wants to be shaktimaan  even in his other videos all he does is complain about bollywood. He was heavily critical of besharam rang, he hated Animal and went on a whole rant about it and there are several other things he has complained about, he is an attention seeker. 

This video looks like his attempt to try to get ranveer kicked out of shaktimaan, and that is just horrible, ranveer has not done anything wrong, not hurt anyone, yet he keeps getting this negativity thrown at him again and again. 

If ranbir can play ram after playing such a toxic character in animal, then why can't ranveer play shaktimaan? Shaktimaan is just a superhero.

Even though he created the brand, someone else would have taken the mantle for him anyway, and BW mein ek Aisa koi nahi hoga Jo doodh ka dhula ho, so either make the movie with a good actor and let the legacy carry go or let it just be nostalgia. Ig he prefers the latter, but he has never been a fan of BW atleast after BW moved on from him.

If he had said I prefer so and so because I have always envisioned him as Shaktiman or raised this topic in 2022, it would have made more sense, abhi it feels like a lame attempt to be relavant and remind people ki I was the OG.

Why don’t they cast him only? VFX toh hai hi to fix the minor issues like wrinkles and eye bags.

Ranveer signed the movie a long while ago, mukesh khanna knew he was doing it, but suddenly now he is coming out with this video? Why? Ranveer did that photoshoot nearly two years ago, so why is mukesh mentioning it now? Something definitely is fishy here, why all of a sudden mukesh is doing this? Either he is angry with the makers of the film and so is doing this to upset them, or someone is telling him to do this. 

If he was the one deciding who is doing the film or had any power in the casting, he wouldn't have cast ranveer in the first place or they would have quietly replaced him, but here mukesh is spreading negativity about the film
