I am going for Sunday afternoon show, damn it, 2 more days to go .. I cannot wait 

My review ;

The movie has to be watched on the big screen. It truly lives upto the promise of showing aerial action and dog fights. Absolutely thrilling !

Positives :

The movie builds up well to the air combat action. Patty's (HR)  bonding with his team mates is nicely woven into the story. Highlight though for me were Anil's interaction with Hrithik's. They stand out. Anil's character thinks Hrithik is the best pilot but he does not know how to work in the team. 

Mitti song sequence was a tear jerker.

Patty's charcter is very very well written. He is a hero who fails, regrets then gets his chance at redemption. 

BGM is fab and I repeat again the dog fight scenes are brilliant. SUKHOI VS F16.  

One Pakistani pilot is shown to be equally skillful and efficient.

Anil Kapoor is brilliant in the film. Akshay Oberoi is very good. Sanjeeda shines in one memorable scene. 

No one presents Hrithik better than Sid. No one. No one objectifies Hrithik better than Sid . It is an out and out Hrithik film. 

Negatives 

I did not like the villain. Very one note.

KSG's acting was poor. His character was important. I wish someone else played it. 

I did not buy into Patty and Mini's love story . Neither did I like the back story given to Mini. It lacked emotional depth. I am surprised DP agreed to do the film.

India occupied Pakistan dialogue got the maximum cheers and hooting in my movie theatre. Make of it whatever you want to. Jingoism works lol. 

I hope we can have more aerial action films. So much fun and thrilling to watch they are.
