Zimbabwe U19 will take on Namibia U19 in the 20th match of the ICC Under 19 World Cup 2024 at Diamond Oval, Kimberley on Saturday (January 27). Both teams have lost two games so far so will look for their first victory of the tournament.
Zimbabwe U19 played their last match against Australia U19 where Australia U19 scored 296/7 in 50 overs. Harry Dixon 89(108) and Hugh Webigen 68(69) led them towards this total. While chasing a mammoth target of 297, Zimbabwe U19 was bundled out for 71 in 23.2 overs and lost the match by 225 runs.
Namibia U19 played their previous game against Sri Lanka U19 in a low-scoring thriller where they restricted Sri Lanka U19 to 133 in 37.5 overs. Zacheo Vurren scalped four wickets, while his teammate Johannes De Villiers picked up three wickets. While chasing 134, Namibia U19 was able to score only 56 in 27 overs and lost the game by 77 runs. Vishwa Lahiru and Ruvishan Perera picked up three wickets each.
