Normally it never happens for actresses after the peak is over and I doubt anyone got it after a gap of almost 2 decades but this year has surprisingly been weak in terms of competition for actresses..thanks to the shift post pandemic..now cinema will have fewer challenging roles for actresses and this year the shift was more apparent than ever
From top actress like Deepika being reduced to a glam doll to Alia Bhatt doing something so unchallenging and generic that it takes us back to her Humpty Sharma days to an actual award worthy performance from Kareena not being eligible for one thanks to hers not being a cinematic release, at the end Rani Mukherji stands like a lone warrior at the winning end of all these awards.
Well she did dare to come to the cinemas and also managed to get some sort of an audience for her movie which is next to impossible now post pandemic. Her act was amazing, though it was met with polarizing reviews and tbh no one considered that she would actually win, the end of the year tells us that she is the clear winner
