The main problem is:
ITV ke makers aur ham Audience dono hi problematic hain. Hame FL ko ek normal insaan ki tarah dekhne ki aadat nahi hai. Hame to bas aisi FL chahiye, jo kabhi galat nahi hoti. Haan.. nayi generation ki audience ko sacrificial lambs aur Devi maa jaisi FL nahi pasand. Lekin ham ab bhi apne sare emotional reactions aur moral judgements FL ke POV se hi dekhte hain, dekhna chahte hain.
Ham pyaar/revenge/social issue based koi kahani ho... Sab kuch FL ke POV se dekhna chahte hain aur apne sare emotions usi ke liye reserved rakhte hain. Isiliye hame ek sath diverse caste assemble wali engaging stories dekhne ko nahi milti. Ham to ek FL cum ek meglomaniac ki story dekhne ke aadi hain.
Hame ek aisi FL nahi pasand.. jo kabhi2 battamij ho jaye... Kabhi usse galati ho jaye.. aur wo baad me apni galti samjhe aur grow kare!
Hamare TV to kya MOVIES me bhi... Heroine ko mistakes karne ka adhikar nahi. Agar galti ki hai.. to ya to sirf victim hai ya sirf Vamp hai! No in between...

Aajkal Mafias ki/gangsters ki etni human stories (which are plain glorification and I hate these movies and series) dikha rahe, aur audience ko pasand aa rha ye sab nonsense!
Ham Gangsters ki psychological/social journey samjhne ko taiyar hain... lekin everyday people ko ham aise unrealistic way me dekhna chahte hain! Ham regular mistakes ko maaf nahi kar paate!
Isiliye na hamare yaha FL/ML interesting hote hain aur na hi Villains. Stories to
bogus hoti hi hain.
Anupamaa ke context me baat kare... to Anupamaa me episode 1 se leker ab tak koi internal change nahi aaya ha. Anupamaa ne ghar badla, car me jana shuru kiya, office jane lagi aur Full on attitude dikhane lagi!!.. Lekin thought process to chodo usne apne lifestyle Tak me koi necessary change nahi kiya.. domestic workers ko employ karne, gym jane, dressing sense aur self-care sare aspect.. kisi me bhi zero change!
I don't know... ki koi bhi insaan ye kaise soch sakta hai ki wo jaisa paida hua, waise hi ekdam 100% perfect tha aur use samay ke saath change hone ki jara bhi jarurat nahi!
Anupamaa ne apne naam ka ekdam galat matlab le liya aur Now, she is a meglomaniac. Someone who is in love of her reflection and can't change.

And one more thing... Ye sab TRP games ke karan nahi hai. In reality, Indian writers (jo ek typical background se belong karte hain) khud isi mentality ke hote hain. They don't care about real people's experiences and their understanding of life. Instead, they constantly project their own understanding of something they know nothing about.
West me kisi perticular character ke liye etna research kiya jata hai. Sociologists/Psychologists/Real logo ke lived experiences se input leker specific field me trained and educated writers ki team script aur character sketch par kaam karti hain. And when they face backlash, they try to correct it.
Here, Rich and obnoxious people think they have the ultimate authority on deciding everything. They think they can preach everyone. They don't actually respect our mothers, homemakers and us women. If they did, they would have cared about us and did their homework.
Anyway. Enjoy these garbage products in the name of entertainment because that's what we deserve!
