👨🏻‍👩🏻‍👧🏻 A Decade of Love, Laughter, and Memories 💕

A decade ago, the television landscape in India witnessed a paradigm shift with the premiere of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" on December 3, 2013. Little did we know that this show, created by Ekta Kapoor, would go on to redefine the conventional norms of Indian soap operas and etch itself into the hearts of millions. As we celebrate the 10th anniversary, the show's legacy is not just a memory but a living testament to the enduring power of love on and off the screen.

At its core, "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" was the unconventional love story that revolved around Dr. Ishita Iyer, portrayed by the talented and beautiful Divyanka Tripathi, and Raman Kumar Bhalla, played by the charismatic Karan Patel. The unusual pairing of a dentist and a ruthless businessman laid the foundation for a unique and captivating storyline that kept audiences hooked from day one. Divyanka and Karan's on-screen chemistry or as they are lovingly called #Divan, breathed life into these characters, making them household names and became iconic characters in the world of Indian television. Their journey from being poles apart to a couple facing societal challenges resonated with viewers, leaving an indelible mark on the Indian television landscape.

Beyond the love saga, the show was unafraid to tackle societal issues head-on. From addressing infertility and surrogacy to challenging societal norms such as remarriage and complex family structures, the show was a trailblazer in bringing taboo subjects to the forefront. The show earned praise for its progressive narratives. It became a platform for discussions on taboo topics, sparking conversations that extended beyond the television screen.

Their performances created an emotional resonance that transcended the confines of the television screen.

The show achieved remarkable milestones during its run, including completing 1,500 episodes, a feat that underscored its unwavering popularity. The celebration of these milestones wasn't just about numbers; it was a testament to the enduring connection between the characters and the audience.

Despite the show concluding in 2019, the love for "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" continues to thrive. Social media platforms are a testament to the show's everlasting impact, with fans sharing their favorite moments, dialogues, and making video and picture creations. The hashtag #YHMForever stands as a symbol of the deep emotional connection fans still hold with the show.

❤️✨ Raman and Ishita's Love Saga ✨❤️

The narrative begins with Raman, a successful and arrogant business tycoon, who is initially portrayed as a cold-hearted individual. Ishita, on the other hand, is a caring and nurturing dentist. Their paths cross when circumstances lead them to a contract marriage for the well-being of Raman's daughter, Ruhi. The initial stages of their relationship are marked by misunderstandings, clashes, and conflicting personalities.

As the series progresses, the audience witnesses the gradual transformation of their relationship. Despite their differences, Raman and Ishita find common ground in their love and concern for Ruhi and later, other children they adopt. Ishita's selfless and nurturing nature breaks down Raman's emotional barriers, leading to a deeper connection between them.

One of the significant elements of their love story is the gradual realization and acceptance of their feelings for each other. The characters evolve individually, overcoming past traumas and emotional baggage. Raman's journey from a stern businessman to a vulnerable and emotionally expressive partner is a testament to the transformative power of love.

Through these trials, the couple's bond strengthens, and their love conquers all obstacles. This is the first show I watched when I came back to see ITV shows online as a foreigner.

As a child, I saw Div Di as Vidya, and when I googled her, the show was already on air so I decided to watch it. I immediately felt for Ishru. Ishru's bond was the main point of Ishra's love story, without Ruhi, the love story couldn't be. The story was unique and the social message behind Ishita's infertility was fantastic. This is the kind of show I love to watch, something we can relate to, but unfortunately, that era is gone.

So my favorite part is only the first part of the show with the initial castsmiley27 Not that I didn't love the second-gen but the first one was an emotion for me. And who says the first part means also the Tamilian and Punjabi mix, both families were hilarious fighting like cats and dogssmiley36 I had lots of fun! I truly miss them allsmiley27 YHM has my heart & represents one of my favorite shows on ITV.
