A family novel at its best. Three grown-up daughters stuck at their parents' cherry orchard during the pandemic. They find out their mother had a world wind romance with a famous actor. What follows is a story of mothers and daughters, crazy young love and everyone trying to stay sane during a lockdown. My favourite book of the year so far. Love everything Ann Patchett writes.
