zameen se utha kar dil mein bitha liya
nazron mein sama kar, palkon pe jagah diya
itna pyaar diya aapne doston,
mere bikhre shabdon ko kavita bana diya.

tanha mesus karte they har waqt khud ko
itne logon ne ab humen dost bana liya
gum tha mera naam jaane kis bheed mein
shukriya hai aap sab ka jo,
is anjaan ladki ko apna bana liya.

kushi mili to hanste hai sab
gam mile to rote hai sab
shukriya aapka aapne to humen,
gam mein bhi muskurana sikha diya.

yeh zaroori to nahi hum muskurate hai har waqt to,
khushiyan hi khushiyan hai humare daaman mein
shukria aapka, humne aap ke hi to sahaare,
apne dil ko dard chupaana sikha diya.
