Rocky Aur Rani music is such a let-down

The same director who gave us Kuch K,uch Hota Hai, K3G, and ADHM now gives us a dud like Rocky aur Rani. The music is so stale, such a letdown, so bland, so generic!

Music is ok. Just that the chemistry is so bad.. that people don't want to watch it. The likes on Youtube is pathetic. On Google trends.. the buzz / graph lowered ,and is maintaining it low since Jhumka. This new song flopped hard too.Imagine the peak today is at a lower level in the last 7 days. Imagine!

Songs don’t have that repeat factor. It’s also the choice of singers. I’m very bored of Arijit and Shreya. Especially Shreya she’s been singing for over 20 years. We need a new voice now. Also lead pairs chemistry is just not there. Another problem is Ranveer looks hotter in the promotions than the actual movie. Everything is messy 😆

Even SOTY had better music. Even though Ishq Wala Love was cheesy, I would much rather listen to that over this

I was shocked to know RARKPK music was by pritam.

In TJMM, Arjit did sing 3 songs, out of 3 I expected one intense sad song like ADHM title song but all we got instead was bland and boring "Bedardaya ". It felt like Bedardaya was some God's name and they were doing "Bedardaya" bhajan through out the song. Also I didn't get why 3 songs in one movie was sung by Arjit. Pritam along with himself he is dragging down Arjit too with his half baked composition in recent 2 films. I prefer one Arjit song in one movie, not more than that as it not only gets overkill but also Arjit vocals can be misfit for some songs eventhough he has intense and deep vocals otherwise especially when pritam is not giving good composition. . I want Arman Malik, Karthik, hariharan etc., like other good singers too for other songs in each movie along with Arjit, that way we get variation too in the songs of a movie.

Now all the 3 songs of RARKPK felt like the fusion of previous songs composed by Pritam. Seems like he is running out of ideas otherwise I was a fan of his albums like ADHM, kairiyat poocho etc.,

Even DSP ran out of ideas beyond a point and used to copy his own songs, I guess every music director reaches this stage beyond a point in their music composition phase. 😆
