just peeking in to give a different view. I gave up on this drama when it looked like they were glorifying child marriage. so I am glad to see this latest episode where it looks like they are splitting up at the end of this drama.
Been wanting to join the discussion but haven't had a chance to type it. Even though I've been so frustrated with it at times. Not because it isn't working out with Fakir and Aini i'm glad they are showing it doesn't all just work out in the end. However I have a problem with the writing, it's hard to explain, but not sure if it's the actor playing fakhir or the character writing it's just so badly written at times. Like yes he is a child but some of the stuff he comes out with is just so dumb because he was shown to understand on some level in between. I really do agree with your analysis but somewhere the let down has been the dialogues at times. Like is it just me or sometimes things just don't add up lol, like sometimes they've dealt with a scenario solved it and all but then come back to talking about stuff like that whole thing didn't happen.
lol i'm probably rambling it's just whilst i agree with Fakhir that this is a forced marriage I'm just not seeing as much downside for him compared to aini. Yes his friends have gone abroad but from the little I saw of the show prior to their marriage he wasn't exactly the focused about his education. So i feel this whole insecurity of his would have played out even if he didn't get married as he wouldn't have gone abroad either way and only would have wanted to when he started feeling left out. I feel like they just haven't articulated his character properly. Had he openly said that had I not been married no one would care if I changed my mind about education i would have understood his point. I mean yes i know as a child he would never admit it's his insecurity because of friends but at least express that it's unfair since I would have been allowed to if I wasn't married. that's where i think the show has gone wrong because his whole spiel about no one asked abbout his dreams is just pathetic and so selfish when he can see aini has compromised as well. It's like even Amna explaisn to him he still doesn't fully grasp the point but again I think it's because of bad writing as she sometimes is on the right track but doesn't complete her thoughts lol. llike onlly recently she said Ainy has given up a lot more than him. Like he is only seeing his side. Like I get it he wants to go but how unfair of him to leave Aini waiting around for him at his mercy of this relationship whilst working in America. She was right it wasn't just for education. Like i feel they should have said wow so you may call them there, will support. What if he falls in love with another girl, ainy is stuck while he technically got free.
I just wish at some point they had suggested what if Aini went abroad as well to study. Go at the same time, what would his reaction be then. I think it's harder to digest as at times he was shown sensible but now it's a complete u turn. I wish they for once said like fine we forced you but why did you have sex with aini, like come on. He got his fun but left poor Aini bound.
I would love for them to have shown Aini going abroad as well to study. Both of them growing up and realising and then deciding if they wanted to continue this relationship or not. Why is Fakhir allowed to decide. Tbh not sure how fakhir got into uni, also how are they going to afford it lol. They were crying about money not too long ago.
