The episode begins when Nandu receives a call from Nandish's school saying he fell while playing at school. Nandu is in shock and tells the family members and they all rush to the school. Maitree tries to join them too but Nandu stops her. Sona requests Maitree to stay home. Maitree tries to call Harsh but he does not pick up. She hopes that he comes home soon. 

Maitree is in the mandir at home and prays that Nandish gets well soon. Someone is watching Maitree and Maitree gets a feeling someone is watching her. Maitree wonders where is her mother in law Kamna. Someone comes in the house with a mask on and tries to kidnap her into the bathroom and drags her inside. 

Harsh is stuck in the traffic while coming home, he sees Maitree's missed calls about 50 calls. He notices someone has blocked Maitree number from him calling him. Harsh felt something is wrong so rushes home.

Harsh returns home and sees there is smoke coming out of the bathroom, he sees Maitree sinking in the water. He comes and rescues her. Harsh catches a person with a mash on who tried to kill his wife. Tiwaris come home and they hear noises from upstairs. Harsh removed the mask of that person and catches his mother red-handed for attempting to kill his wife.

Harsh confronts his mother why is she trying to kill Maitree? Harsh's mother remains calm and quiet. Maitree gets consciousness, Harsh asks her what is going on and why is his mother trying to kill her? Maitree says I didn't want you to find out this way but today Kamna lost her son as well. Kamna tells Maitree to stop talking. Maitree wanted to show Harsh, his mother's true face and how she harassed her behind his back.
