Not excited about it
In these 25 years, he worked 10 times as a director (but only 7 fullfledged movies)...so, he could also celebrate his 10th director's work...
What about the 25 years, Karan shaped more the Dharma production company and his own image as a film mogul than his image as a director...
The first 8 years of Dharma thrived on 4 movies with SRK (and an item song with him for Kaal).
As a director, more than half of his full-fledged movies are with SRK, the other three are SOTY, ADHM (with SRK-cameo) and now RARKPK...
His first movie, he somehow disowned by judging it negatively now and his first Dharma-director as producer (Nikhil Advani, associate director at 3 SRK movies), he quickly put off.
Well, it's his right to celebrate himself but to me, it smacks of self-praise.
Why is it in English? Who is his audience? Now that we know him much better ,since SRK times,he looks like a person disconnected with real emotions. He can't look beyond the lifestyles of the rich and famous in South Bombay. No one is expecting any fresh ideas. His aim is 100 crores..He will somehow reach there.
This was a nice watch

the only rightful way to celebrate would’ve been to build a temple for SRK. but alas, he is full of self praise celebrating himself on his birthday.

That's just laughable (not even sarcastic)...the rest...well, he didn't celebrate his birthday (to be exact) but his 25 years as a director...(shown in the video)...but I guess, he also will celebrate his birthday tomorrow/today 😉
