Not to feed in to the stereotype, but I’ve never been a fan of fish so both Bengali/Japanese cuisine I really struggle with. Fortunately with the rise of vegans, there’s way more veg sushi options nowadays. Bengali desserts on the other hand..🤤

Sadly, I am not too familiar with Bengali cuisine to counter argue.

But Japanese cuisine is not all fish and sushi. There is ramen, udon, mazamen, yakisoba, katsu, tempura, yakitori, and so much more. There is a whole range of Buddhist plant-based cuisine.

Luchi and cholar dal is heavenly.It’s so simple and yet so flavoursome.

Also I love love love the puja bhog wala khichudi.I will choose that Khichdi over any damn dish.❤️

Oily tempura is bad tempura. Good tempura is supposed to get light super crispy crust without feeling greasy.

I love a good bowl of tonkotsu ramen.
