It was a masterpiece, and exactly the kind of film which would have got Western audiences enthralled.

It was one of the best movies to come out of India last year.

not only that, the performances of all 3 leads were superlative.

If you ask me, it boasted all the ingredients to be nominated for an Oscar.

It is a poignant and beautifully crafted film that explores universal themes of love, loss, and healing. It showcases Tripti Dimri's talent as an actress and leaves a lasting impression on its viewers.

the cinematography and music were top-notch too!

The Oscar nominees are chosen by the AMPAS (Oscars organisation) memberships - artists, directors and so on, and most of them are westerners.

Few Bollywood films are known or appreciated by westerners.

Even if a bollywoord film is nominated, voters are still westerners.

In short, Bollywood is not Hollywood.

Because it is not worth it. Just by being shot in dim light doesn't make it good.

It's the truth. That whole movie is dimly lit to project as if it is some masterpiece!
