Honestly i don't think "trust" is the issue here... Bec what shamita is accusing viaan of, viaan actually did do that to katha... He did EXACTLY that..
.. She needed a loan, he asked to sleep with her, and he actually did sleep with her... That's what shamita is saying- i wanted my job back and he asked to sleep with me for money... So What trust should katha do in viaan?
We can understand why viaan made that offer to katha but has anyone understood why he actually went through with it and slept with her? No...
.... Instead with this track as a viewer i am again reminded of what disgusting thing viaan did ... And i can't brush it aside bec neerjaji thinks he is good hearted and bec he donates to random charities or commissions eyeglasses
This track wasn't required at all... Maybe they could have a track of viaan being accused of Financial corruption or something... But not the exact same thing...
So if at some point katha says that i trust viaan and he can't do something like this, I'm just going to die laughing..
Bips, my friend🤗, long time, no see. Well, I haven't been able to come and post much too.
Sorry Shalzie, I read your post, but was too engrossed in work responsibilities. Needed to be available fully when our students are going through their most important few weeks of their lives deciding their futures❤️
Good morning girls!! I hope all of you are doing well.
Bips, please don't hold me on the specifics as I write this, as I watched all 5-6 episodes in one go. Here are my general thoughts:
Ehsan became this nice guy again, overruling selfish mom and standing by his bhai👍🏼It is about time they do this. I won't forgive the writers if they break this bond😡 So, unnecessary to have all the friends and family turn into conniving vamps and villains
Farah on the other hand calls her son selfish enough and encourages him to go for the kill when Viaan is at his weakest🤢
Teji turned out to be extremely smart, in appointing Katha as the head of the committee and accurately remembering her allegiance to Viaan. Makers are smart as well, so that Katha doesn't sit in the hot seat and answer questions with regards to Viaan R and show us the turmoil Katha is going through hearing out every single one of those testimonies. Does she believe in the good Viaan or the bad, cruel Viaan. She had seen the judgmental Viaan and it is hard not to believe what Shamita is saying.
So, my friend, I don't think at the end of this investigation, Katha will say that she trusts Viaan, but this will be a tug of war between her heart and brain. A heart which wants to believe that Viaan R had a reason to do what he did with her, however twisted it was and also all the warmth exuding from his other employees for him. Her brain, knows what he is capable of, and therefore has to agree with Shamita What a predicament to be in !
She needs to be a true on-looker, remove herself as a victim of his poor judgment and his new friend and really look at the reality of this situation. The money is going to be in the evidences while she struggles to fight off her emotions🤔 Makers, please take a bow for creating this amazing circumstance, which is the greatest conflict there can ever be👍🏼
I also like the confidence Viaan exudes as he is going through the investigation. I guess this will thoroughly vet Viaan's integrity. Yes, he made a disgustingly poor judgment, but I am liking the fact that he is not afraid to face the consequences for his actions👍🏼. He is coming across as someone who is truly redeeming. Unfortunately, the past cannot be turned back, so the only way is to move forward. I know, I would never be that kind person who can neither forgive nor forget, but I am truly touched to see this guy being ready to face the music. Loved the iteration from him that he doesn't want any employee to live in fear in his firm. This is where I hope all of our work places reach some day, where one can work freely with no fear of reprehension👍🏼I am not sure if I am able to convey what I am going to say🤔
I continue not to like Neerja and her nonsense, irrelevant. Apparently, she is never wrong in predicting people. Yeah, yeah, like she thought her children suddenly remembered love for her and that Viaan can NEVER do such a thing👎🏼
Katha is rising a great little boy👍🏼. But, what is the deal with asking permission to sit next to a girl in the bus Why does a child need to be told to ask permission from opposite gender? I think that is too much. But liked the emphasis placed on NO meant NO, no matter what the gender is. They shot two birds in one shot- homophobia and consent👍🏼 Really brilliant to use the little boy to convey the message👏
Ewwww..... Yuvraaj guy is a very smooth and crass operator😡. Meera is a young, naïve girl, who thought that she is doing a noble deed by providing solace to a tortured older rich guy, with a complete family. How many girls are conned this way into believing that they are serving some very noble purpose, only to be used in the most heinous way? This guy is slowly cornering her👎🏼🤬 Hope she wakes up. I felt bad watching her.
Sad to see Reet too. Creep husband cheating on her while she is keeping his house. Yes, she pushes all the wrong buttons, but does she deserve this?
Sorry to take your space, my friend. Just had to put down my rambling somewhere😳 Not very coherent thoughts.....

Edited by mili9 - 8 months agoWelcome back Mili. I look forward to your analysis as you always have a balanced way of looking at things. I think that this track is required to make both Viaan and Katha face the reality of that night. You can't sweep away one of the biggest truths of your life, and pretend like it never happened. I won't count the little discussion attempts made as at date.
It seems like some people consider that night as a sin whereas there are others like me who simply view it as a deal between two adults. I also believe that Viaan made an error of judgement but I do not feel that he should be crucified for that action. He did repent. I didn't like the fact that he felt that he could simply confess his feelings to Katha. That was naive, selfish and abrupt. The writers used the current track to make Viaan understand that that night was still a barrier between whatever future he was dreaming for them. You cannot move forward until you make peace with your past.
Kaviaan have been polite with each other. They need to have a session where they bare their souls out to each other in respect of that night.
I have read other members' posts, and I do agree that there are inconsistencies in this track. It would be easy to counter check Shamita's allegations by checking Viaan's phone for the call, and the office must have CCTV cameras. It's wrong for makers to underestimate the intelligence of its audience. But I understand the need for drama so I will overlook this...same way I switch off my brain cells while watching comedies!
Good to see you Mili. Hope you are doing well
The whole Shamita track is very much needed in my POV. Katha-Viaan bond being developed after lonavala trip and a poetic realisation of love by Viaan followed by lovesick Viaan was a bit rushed.
The dark night that happened can not be brushed away with a simple convo. I don't take the ONS offer and ONS as a sin, considering it was a deal from Viaan and Katha accepted it. It was consented act.
Viaan considered it as a wrong thing after learning about the situation in which she accepted his offer. So there has to be proper redemption for Viaan so that he can move on in his life and this track is the best possible way.
I just love the confident Viaan, who is ready to face the consequences and wants to make EarthCon safe place for everyone.
Katha is put in such a place where she is fighting between her heart and brain. I am happy that she is made to lead the investigation. Otherwise she would have been called in as a witness. She is facing the conflict in the best possible way. Angst and conflict with no OTT expressions and BGM.❤️❤️
I have no complaints. This is the best show ITV is giving us. I always heard Silence speaks louder than words. Here we are watching how silently Katha-Viaan is conversing. The understanding between them is unbelievable

I thought this would be an unpopular opinion but I also agree with you. Yes the ONS was disgusting but Katha had a choice to say no - Viaan at the time was not aware of the reasoning for all he knew it could have been to buy designer bag. However I will say that as a boss he should never have made the offer or gone through with it.
I’m enjoying the conflict and because it’s about Katha’s experience I see why she is torn between who is Viaan really? It’s fantastic to see this sort of angst from ML and FL.
I don’t like the Batman and Robin vibe anymore it’s gone on for too long. It seems a bit odd that nobody is supervising Araav(??) when he is at club - you would think someone would notice that he is hugging a stranger 🤔
I just don’t understand why it’s TRP is low.
I hope Ehsaan stays as a goodie - why do we have to have so many villains in a show?
Good discussion girls!!!
I do not consider the kaali raat as a sin committed by Viaan himself. Yes, it is a deal, which happened with mutual consent. From Katha's side , it was a true majboori😒unlike the nonsensical majboori's of the FLs of Indian TV. And Viaan's side was his pigheadedness. Whatever, it was, they didn't truly know what the other person's intentions were.
Despite the act itself being that of mutual consent, unfortunately, in this situation we can't look at it as a sterile, cut and dry consent🤢. There is no way we can discredit Katha's trauma, even though she is looking all hunky-dory. So far, she dealt with it by burying it all, initially out of her need to be a mom of a sick and dying child and later on reconciled with her decision and the act as a necessary but ugly means to a rewarding end. She dealt with it with stoicism, not letting herself to even think about it, let alone delve on it. We can't get past traumas this way. They need to be processed, reconciled and assimilated into the fabric of our life to move on.......😭 This track is therefore necessary for Katha to face her trauma smack on👍🏼
Viaan pestered Katha to accept his apology initially, mostly to assuage his guilt. He didn't consider how Katha will have to deal with the same trauma from her vantage point😵. I am loving how Viaan is now calm, giving her the space she needs to look at him objectively as a person in the setting of his prior reckless judgment. In the process, he is even helping her with her decision making process - as in his interaction with Katha as she is trying to decide whether she is the right person to head the committee or not👍🏼That was simply brilliant This could come back to hurt him bad, but he is only looking out from her perspective as he gave that advice🤗 Almost like my husband sits me down when I am frazzled and muddled trying to decide in difficult situations❤️ Amazing characterization of Viaan R by the makers👏 and kudos to Adnaan for owning Viaan No need for other genuises😃 to play Viaan. Itna kaafi hain. Sorry, couldn't help it🤣🤣
As opinionated as I am, I can't believe I am able to call a guy who propositioned so indecently, as an amazing character
I also have no complaints with the investigation too👍🏼 I am not a techie, so I am afraid of technology in general. But, if you look at internal investigations, this is how they are conducted. Even if a case appears to be open and shut, every party deserves thorough vetting and the committee has to do their due diligence👍🏼 Each party also needs to be heard for any inconsistencies in their story. Gathering all the facts, however trivial they may seem is crucial. After all, this incident is going to decimate someone's integrity and character🤢. I am loving the process.
Can I complain about that glittery, polyester green shirt of Katha?👎🏼 And those pants. Are they supposed to be ankle length crops? Take it from me, ankle length crops look odd on not so tall( short) people. I am no fashion police, just from personal experience.
Let us see what today brings......... this is the drama I am talking about, riveting but not repulsive

It’s nice to see a character on a show who is not out for revenge because she was betrayed by fate - I like the subtle message of the show. I used to feel bitter that why have bad things happened in life - but the thing I learnt and like about Katha is that though she is torn I hope that the truth is more important. As Viaan said I should be punished for what I’ve done wrong not what I haven’t.
Am loving episodes- I sort of like watching in binge mode - rather than individual episodes
The whole point of this track is to make kaviaan face their hidden feelings and confront the fears.
Kaviaan had ons, they moved ahead. Katha may have been angry but she kind of understood Viaan's messed up past played a big role in whatever happened. Viaan thought katha has forgiven him completely.
But things were not this simple. There were underlying confused emotions or rather feelings which were not sorted out before. Viaan was trying to confess his love to katha which we all felt was hurried step and after shamita's drama viaan finally understood things needs to be sorted out between them before love can take place. So this shamita's track gave them this chance.
Viaan also offered katha the same internal committee inquiry and he was ready to face it but katha herself chose not to opt for it so this confrontation didn't happen that time.
Katha doesn't see everything as black and white. She views viaan in grey character who can make mistakes and who can be a changed man also.
But shamita's story presenting viaan as out and out dark villain character which is not true at all.
Both kaviaan has come a long way. Both of them had beautiful character development.
kaviaan came to terms with ons, atleast they thought like that. But clearly they have not moved on from it. They need this kind of confrontation.
