Meg Lanning: We are gonna have a bowl. It has been working well for us in the last two games. We need another good performance tonight. Any team in the competition can win on any day and we have to put a good performance tonight. If you come in a game thinking about it, it will put you off.
It means for UPW, it will be a tough task to score runs.

Hello and a warm welcome to the final league game of the inaugural season of the WPL between UP Warriorz and Delhi Capitals. The beauty of the tournament has been that different teams have shown their caliber at different stages. The fact that the team which will earn a direct qualification to the finale hasnβt been decided yet, thereβs everything to play for DC. As MI have won their previous game, it has become clear that it will be mandatory for UP to play the eliminator. A win for DC will ensure that they make it directly to the finals as their NRR is already superior to that of MI. They are certainly looking like a formidable unit at present and their all-round brilliance was on show against MI in their previous game. UP Warriorz canβt be taken lightly though. They have won two games in a row and have momentum on their side too. Can DC coast to victory tonight? Or will UP get the better of DC and help MI to become the first finalist?

We have been playing well, so no need to change.

Alyssa Healy: We are not too unhappy. We will enjoy coming here and put a good total on the board. We have got three changes tonight β Grace Harris, Rajeshwari Gayakwad and Devika Vaidya miss out. Yashasri makes her debut so we're looking forward to her, Shabnam Ismail also comes in.The focus of franchise is to look forward and give some rest to some players. Grace Harris has been doing the heavy lifting for us.
UP Warriorz (Playing XI): Shweta Sehrawat, Alyssa Healy(w/c), Kiran Navgire, Tahlia McGrath, Deepti Sharma, Sophie Ecclestone, Simran Shaikh, Parshavi Chopra, Anjali Sarvani, Soppadhandi Yashasri, Shabnim Ismail
For those interested, our stats man Rajesh has come up with an estimate for Delhi Capitals to stay ahead of Mumbai Indians on net run rate in order to win and claim first place and a direct slot in the final. "If UP score 140, DC need to score 141 in 19.4." The chase may need to be completed one ball slower or quicker depending on how many runs above or below UP Warriorz finish compared to the benchmark calculation of 140.
Last league game coming up in a second.
