The episode begins where Maitree is trying to put baby Tiwari to sleep. Maitree's father Dinesh and her brother Sachin are checking out if the footage of Saransh is real or fake. Dinesh finds out from the hospital that this proof by Vasundhara is true. Saransh was driving the car while being high and hence why the accident happened. Maitree's father isn't very happy about it and promises to bring back Maitree home. 

Maitree calls her dad to tell him the good news that Nandini is coming home finally. She hangs up the phone as baby Tiwari was waking up. Her dad thinks Maitree is unaware of her best friends have betrayed her by not telling her the truth of Saransh. 

Sona wraps a red shawl around Maitree only for Nandini's sake till she is better as Nandini doesn't know anything about Saransh and that Maitree is a widow now. Baby Tiwari is crying and sees Nandini has arrived home. Doctors accompany Nandini to her room. Maitree asks Ashish to find proof. 

Dinesh comes over to see and meet Maitree and both have a long conversation. Ashish feels why are they both taking so long. He thinks they are talking about Saransh. Dinesh tells Maitree how Saransh was late on his engagement day and Maitree realises how her diamond ring was fake as the diamond came out of it too.

Maitree reveals Ashish that Saransh was a drug addict and Ashish doesn't have proof to defend Saransh from all the allegation against him. Sona (Saransh's mother) gets very angry and yells at Vasundhara. Sona gets arrested by the police.
