They showed him tearing up the resignation letter and asking Katha to come back to work. No apology whatsoever. Did I miss the apology part? It looked really ridiculous to me the behaviour of Viaan.

No, he didn't apologize though it was mandatory.

That whole situation was awkward, Ashan should have exited for them to talk properly. The issue couldn’t be discussed with Ashan there.
