A bond formed over a book and Tara has a new ally. A powerful one.

Nothing that cannot be corrected but for now, work stops

Pradyut returned the Project Director’s Gurcharan Das call immediately upon hearing

“Gur what exactly happened?”

“Umm.. sir actually I believe the MC made a surprise visit found some things not right, went back and issued an emergency order”

“Can u send me the image quick?”

“Sure sir, can I reach out to Sharma Purohit?” “the law firm?”

“They do contracts law and family law, they have no idea about real estate” he was irritated

“K let me know who I should call”

“We have a legal department Gur, let me consult hang on” he hung up

He was not even suspecting Taaruni at this point

He was sure she could never pull thing of this large scale off

Taaruni couldn’t believe her good fortune, the debris was cleared, but the scaffolding still stood in place

She ordered Deepak to get marigold and strung it across her doorway and kept the store open until 9 PM

Tushar was shocked he worried if the crew would come back to hurt her

“They have to complain to Towers Partners, nobody knows I did it”

“Kiran and her Dad were very discreet, out of the blue, she just offered

“do you think there must be foul play involved?”

Taaruni’s heart sank… “What do u mean?”

“I mean why of all days TODAY should this woman buy an expensive book and linger and linger and offer to call her Dad?”

“I don’t even know them Bhai”

“the builder mafia is scary Tarooo… who knows who Ajit Singh messed with, maybe he promised to sell to someone else but instead took a higher offer from Munjals?”

“Really?”

“Kuch pata nahi yaar… GO HOME”

“Did u gloat to Pradyut”

“NOOO, Why would I?” “What do u take me for?”

“YOU are doing a fake job in a construction company after studying SW Eng in Singapore, TU BATA mujhe”

She squirmed

“I DO want my pound of flesh” she whispered

“I would not be in this mess if it weren’t for that stupid Towers Partners”

“We could have SOLD”

“Did he ask u to brainwash me?”

“Tu rakh phone aur ghar ja, its after 10”

Pradyut was at the airport in Delhi…………

Is Tushar on to something? Was there some underhanded deal going on?

She failed to find anything wrong at Tower Partners. If they are truly up and up and now this underhanded effort gets going, where will Tara stand? With them?

Interesting stage for both.
Real test for Pradyut. He has been objective. only rash decision was marrying her.

This would be real war. Saying hurtful things would hurt them now. Earlier it was easy to digest.
