Wake up Sid, Dil Chahta Hai, Zindagi na Milegi Dobara, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai
All these movies feel like warm hugs, hot coffee on a cold winter night
Awaara pagal dewana I love it no matter however many times I watch it, it always makes me 🤣
3 Idiots
Om shanti om
KKKG
Jab we met and many more
1. HUM AAPKE HAIN KAUN
2. ANDAZ APNA APNA
3. DIL HAI KE MANTA NAHI
I don't watch full movies now but I watch comedy clips of those movies. Chup Chup ke, Welcome, Hera Pheri, Dhamaal from what I can immediately remember. If not out and out comedy, sometimes I like revisiting few scenes of Swades, Jab we met, Band bajaa baraat, Dil chahta hai etc.
Sometimes on a lazy weekend when I feel like watching a movie I go back to the classics of Hrishikesh Mukherjee, ultimate feel good movies, even the ones with a slightly serious tone, I love them.

I would say DDLJ is my number 1 comfort film. I call it a Sunday film as for some reason seems perfect to watch on a Sunday just before the start of a new week.
Next on my list is Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Something about the film is soothing in a way. I also kinda relate to Naina especially when she goes on the trip to Manali.
Khoobsurat - I mean Fawad Khan is in it, what else can I say? 😆. I did also watch the original film with Rekha in it and really liked it.
Jab We Met - Again something about the film is soothing.
Namastey London - I remember when I first watched it and thought how cool it was seeing a film set in my city.
I want to add Highway to the list but the film makes me cry. I just really love the scenery and all the places they go to. Makes you want to get in a car and just drive.
I can't think of anymore right now, but I know I'm definitely missing out some obvious ones.
Hum Saath Saath Hain
