What worked for katrina is timing. I am sure if she made her debut today she would find it hard to find 2nd film after her debut

She couldn’t even learn the language properly after almost two decades into the industry. Look at Nora on the other hand, her diction is so clean and clear.

why some people said she is not good actor? For me, she is good actor but not every character suit her. Maybe because of her face and looks or maybe the way she talk that suit better for high class/rich character, independent and "modern young girl". Maybe the best word for her is, she is not a versatile actress but she is a good actor. She can do better in some movie compare with others. But if you give her character as village girl, I don't think that suit her at all.

She has great comic timing. Better than many 'serious' actresses in Bollywood. She cannot do justice to every role or even most roles but the ones where she excels, she really does excel by a mile. Same with Anushka. But more that, she has a sensible head on her shoulders that many of her contemporaries or even the current lot do not have. She's enterprising and likeable, acting acumen notwithstanding.

I don't know why this thread is so judgemental and sexist about her sex appeal, looks, literally every cell in her body? "She's there to be hot and sexy" as if Bollywood, especially when she broke out, could write anything beyond manic pixie dream girls/vamps.

KK's far from being called 'Lousy' ... But KK being picked to play younger roles may begin to get challenging for a 40 year old. She really has to carefully decide if certain roles are in synch with her age. Certain genres may not suit her anymore, because it could be more suitable for younger Actresses.

Is her acting even worth rating ?
