This is actually not the flex her PR think it is. She’s been pushed heavily for years, done many A list movies but haven’t really been able to position herself at n1 in these polls. Katrina with no recent movies and limited acting range is still in the top 10 and has been consistently at n1 or top 3 for the past years so it’s about time Alia comes up at the top. Nothing to boast about really.

An actor's popularity should be declared upon how their films are doing and general audience thinks of them not even BO numbers.

In recent times, Alia is the cream of crop for numerous reasons and her films (irrespective of whatever means she is using to get them) are working, so she is in the list. Good for her. How long does she manage to stay afloat is to be seen.

Deepika and Katrina have been crowd favorites' for ages now, irrespective of their film releases. They have that stardom built around them so they still keep featuring in these lists. Again, irrespective of what means they have used to get so popular, general audience loves them.
