Not really in that show Hala upbringing plays a major part in her weakness.She is continuously living in trauma with family who are pretty worse than strangers. She had a troubled childhood,traumatizing experience with her chachi cum saas now. She never gained any source of support or confidence from any of the family members. That's the situation difference primarily between GG the Dumbo vs Hala the bebas bechari type somehow. I also hate weak characters like Hala too but her situation and her inner turmoil can be understandable as well as justifiable at some point but GG the Freakishly stupid character has no character arc,no character growth only a pampered childhood and adulthood till her father was alive. Her idotic & abnormal behaviour are the sole reason of her father's untimely demise not like Hala who was literally abandoned by her own father in her childhood to live with strangers cum family somehow.Don't even try to justify GG Dumbness with that poor girl.I know She has issues but she deserves some sort of sahara whereas is just on the other tangent. She is just a Bimbo and the only talent she possessed in her ab tak ka life is to make fool of her father's emotion and be a bechari in front of her father so that he could say that my daughter is so God damn innocent and pure. I am not defending Hala but her character is Bechara who was overthrown from the only shelter she had and on that Hamza helped her even married her so that she could leave in that shitty 🏠 not knowing completely about her past turmoils and other affairs. She trusted Hala when his Mother questioned about her past relationships with Khurram. After that Hala being a naive once again came into her saas cum chachi trap of saving her sister's life because both of them pretty well knew about Khurram's past intentions.And Shah Jahan requested Hala that you must samjhao Khurram in the best possible way so he himself will deny to marry Hala's cousin.She eventually went there wid her MIL to explain Khurram to eventually resolve this mess. Hamza mother herself called him there and he specifically heard from Hala's own mouth that This Marriage is just happened an accidental one and now the Bubble that was built in which Hamza was for the past couple of months thought that Hala might loved her also somewhere even after this marriage happened so out of sudden and without any context is broken. I know that he is certainly wrong at this moment not to hear Hala's pov in this heated scenario but he will do so as he was the only one who gave her any little confidence to even stand among others. Whereas in case of Anugun she did everything to save him from terror groups yet he not believed her just by seeing RV wid GG and thought that his psycho wife was right about GG that she is definitely an attention seeker.He even knew that GG gave blood to save him. This is basically the real difference between Anu-GG & Hala-Hamza relationship.
You say that Hamza studied abroad so he must have a wider pov. I completely agree but atleast you have to agree with me on this fact that He is basically a Pakistani Muslim Boy who got education in abroad but his core values are deeply rooted. Muslim men always becomes very possessive whenever any gossips comes in light in the context of their wife,sister,mother etc. (Most similar to Hindu men) I am not saying that this gives him an upper hand in their relationship but it is certainly a factual data that noone denies. It's good if we will see in our Dramas those men who have complete faith in their partners at any cost but it is surely not soon possible. But we can see some progressive men like Anuj in Anupama or Suraj in Diya aur Baati Hum type of Dramas.
