MaAn's Wedding Day - 3 things NOTTT GOODDD

Friends, the MaAn Day was lovely - on the whole 🥳 ... but 3 things were really disturbing:

1. Anuj' surprise gift to Anu - Kapadia Sadan

It may sound/look good to gift your loved one a house, that too, one like this.

BUT IT IS NOT.

A house is to live in TOGETHER. Did he consult Anupama about going to live there? Did he check with her about the set-up, the interior decoration, the choice and placement of furniture? etc. etc.

He had seen her lovely little apartment - so tastefully done up, typical Anupama style. Would this elaborate thing (yes, saas-bahu serial type) be something she would really want to live in?

Not bringing her into this situation right from the start is, to me, a sign of LACK OF RESPECT. In such big matters the other side's opinion and wishes should have taken priority over 'giving a surprise gift'.

2. Giving DHAN - the transfer of property & business (leaving out tan-man > her haq now 😆)

Anu is not stupid (not in that sense, at least) but she has never handled such a business. To throw such a big responsibility into her lap - rather: drown her with it - is also as sign of LACK OF RESPECT.

Anuj should have discussed it with her. Was this something she would like? Her heart is in dancing (and cooking for family, etc.). Who would want to be saddled with something like such a real estate thing, that too, a multi-dollar business?!

All this apart from the lack of wisdom to do such a transfer in front of everyone (well, almost). Their faces did not show exactly happiness for Anu at that time.... which should be a warning of heavy times to come 😭

3. The first 'official' signature

Though it looked Anuj was gently encouraging Anu to sign the first check, it was actually FOISTED on her. She could not make a scene in front of everyone, but what was this thing she had to face all of a sudden?

She had not yet got over the shock of the transfer - no chance, indee. But now to sign a check like this - a so-called 'official' one OF WHICH PURPOSE OR MEANING SHE HAD NO IDEA at that time. She was now supposed to be the boss, yet this check was forced on her!

Wasn't this, again, a sign of LACK OF RESPECT ?!?

Anupama's life is already going into a completely new direction with getting married to this man - whom she barely knows much of till now (see the quiz, see the upcoming relatives coming out of the woodwork 🤓).

The day itself had already been filled with so many emotional moments. Not to mention her having to wear an outfit so heavy... (though, admittedly, she wanted to do so ... right till the end of the day, when... ☺️)

But now also these 3 things!!! Not UFF but OOF....
