Anupama and Rakhi: two colours of motherhood

Maybe I am too late to post this comparision. Ever since I started following this show, I couldn't help but compare Rakhi and anupama as mothers and women.

1) Anupama: doesn't have self respect.

No emotional growth.

Her children have some serious issues, pakhi is spoiled brat, toshu is a loser and samar is a codependent mess.

Has unhealthy attachment to her ex in laws.

Accepts abuse from baa and has taught kinjal to do the same.

Becomes a blubbering mess with smallest of things.

Can't stand up for the people who actually love her, eg. Anuj

Can't make financially sound decisions. Doesn't bother with simple research about financial matters. Doesn't bother with returning borrowed money.

Still has made "maa" Her only personality trait and identity.

2) Rakhi: emotionally distant, but cares and loves her daughter in her own way.

Good judge of character, she realised that shahs were toxic at first glance.

No matter what drama happens around her, her business doesn't suffer.

Doesn't take crap from anyone, not even from her daughter's in laws.

Complete drama queen, likes to cause chaos.

Blinded by pride, no humility.

Stands up for her daughters we'll being.

Knows when to draw boundries. Didn't hesitate before throwing toshu out of pent house.

Cares for her daughters nutrition during her pregnancy, sends her good food.

Still a complete naagin.

Bonus: shah's: complete mess. They accept money from kinjal to run the house but can't even buy grapes for her.

Want anupama to work as free maid for them.

Don't care about anupama Or kinjals well being as lo g they get three hot thali meals a day.

Unable to do household chores.

Total leeches and backstabbers. Don't remember any favours others do for them. Don't bother returning borrowed money.

Elders are manipulative and abusive.

Yes Rakhi is much better mother and even human than anupama

Shes independent not dependent on husband or lover for jobs or money or career etc can handle full company alone without anyone help

But all have problems with her may be because she does not do house hold work or talks truths to her daughter kinjaland shahs openly like rudely but atleast shes honest unlike hyprocrite anupama

She will eat up alive anyone attacking her husband or kids for sure single handed - no one will dare attack her family like how shah family attacks or abuses or takes advantage of anuj just because he loves anupama. All shahs know they can use anupama to gain wealth and career from anuj, shes the key that turns anuj and kapadias to bend backwards to please shahs. Imagine if anuj was rakhi dave lover will anyone dare take advantage of him through her? Not even shahs will dare. I am sure after wedding malvika or anuj will give back job to toshu and vanraj etc and again they will try and snatch company from Malvika or anuj in future. This time like last time malvika or anuj will not be able to make come back. In real life its tough to come back from zero again and again especially at 45 years of age.

Humans only abuse and take advantage of people who allow them to do so. Anupama allows shahs to abuse anuj and take advantage of him and never stands up for his respect etc She always gives prominence to shahs even vanraj over anuj kapdia in name of my kids father.

Will vanraj not take advantage of anupama just because shes his kids mother never. Will vanraj stop taking advantage of anuj kapadia because hes anupamas husband means his kids step father never. Did vanraj thrink once that Malvikais going to be anupam a sister in law and in depression before playing love games Nooo. Toshu also who knew all this kept quiet when his father was trapping Malvika now he will touch anuj llegs so all his crimes are forgiven. May be in eyes of anuj to please anupama toshu can be forgiven so can vanraj and shhas but not in eyes of God or public because these are very grave crimes actually snatching others property or business by tricks and playing love games on others sisters to meet targets. All family not admonishing vanraj for what he did the silent spectators shah family who benifitted is also crime only. Wrong message went to society from this that snatch others business by playing any games no punishment in law or by society.

Anupam failedeven as a mother all her kids are big failures both work wise and as role model kids in society. Yes anuj kapadia and malvika will help them up in life again but if they were not there what would happen of shahs in real life? Would anyone give job to vanraj and toshu after what they did to an anuj kapdia? All business and company will think ten times to give these two a job after what they did to anuj in kapdia and sons.So getting any job is tough in future no one is emotional fool like kapadias to just give job like that nowadays. Character and back ground matters a lot over degree. Was anupam aso busy in kitchen and doing house work to even install good values in her kids?

Look at rakhi shes installed good values in kinjal and educated her made her stand on gher feet go to work be independent before marrying Toshu. Now anupam ahas spoiled kinjal too by making her dumb in name of family and love.

This shah family is like remora always dependent on kapdaias or rakhi dave to live or for jobs. Vanraj and anupama and baa bapuji all failed to raise good kids strong kids to face world who can work independent and stand on own feet without friends or in laws help or step father help. Best part is they humiliate both anuj and rakhi or kapadias from whom they take loans and jobs to survive what ungreatful family.

In real life anyone would run miles and not allow shah family or anupama too near them as they use and throw others for their benefits.

Except for her over-dramatisation and typical vamp antics- Rakhi is a wayyy better mother and woman.

Yeah Kinjal can keep blabbering about lack of time and lack of love and blah blah. She still turned out to be more accomplished, well adjusted and kinder person than the Shah kids.

Because in reality it matters what kind of atmosphere a child grows in. Even if its a house managed by servants, if all the child’s needs are met and there is peace between parents and harmony in the house, the child will be fine.

And however much the mother showers the child with love, if the place is toxic, parents are unhappy, mother is constantly taking abuse, the child will be problematic.

The less said about the toxic Shahs, the better. Leeches is an appropriate term.

Generally yeh pakhi toshu ne anupama ko invite kiya hai

Now tell me what should a mother do if her children yeh jid kare ya invite kare maa aap ko yahah kare hamare saath function mein anana hoga

I have already told in shsh house specially baa vanraj toshu in sub ka maansik santulan bigada hua

Yeh log khud hi jub bhi koi problem hoti yeh log khud anupama ko problem sove karne ke kiye anupama ko bulate hai by saying only anupama can handle it

Jub nandini और समर के beech tensions hua tha to yeh baa bol. Rahi thi only anupama can handle it phir kite celebrate ke bahane anupama ko bulaya gaya,

Samar and nandini ke issue ko solve karne

और jub anupama aati hai tub yeh baa bolti hai ki tum. Bahar wali ho tumhe hamare ghar ke maamle bolne ka right nahi hai

@bold - are you sure? I remember an episode where she went to Shah house because she was just passing by that area ... "jignes bhai's dukaan".

She went to their house, and also gave Kavya marriage advice!

First & foremost - Her kids are not toddlers, they are old enough to know and understand how their mother, Anupama is being treated in that house. If they invite her to come to hat house, that goes to show how insensitive they are towards their mother and her feelings.

ok, you can cut them some slack.... even if they invite, she can very well tell them in simple words that she has been abused by the members of that house. So, she will not be able to come. She can tell them that "Entering that house is going to be traumatic for me, I cannot go through that pain again"

But, she will not do any of that. Infact, she grabs the opportunity to go back to the house. As if getting attracted like a magnet!!

Just to put this perspective - if anyone is being insulted over and over again, even if it their own parents/children, a person with a little bit of self-respect would NOT set foot in their house. That is how the whole world behaves.

But here, we are talking about ANUPAMA!

But pakhi and toshu said that they want to celebrate festival with both vanraj and and anupama

Agar khaali anupama ke saath festival celebrate karna hota tub anupama may be kehti mere rent house mein celebrate karna hai b

But yahan to pakhi और toshu specially pakhi yahi chahti hai hum mummy papa ke dono ke saath festival celebrate karenge

Now jub bache khud jid kar rahe hai mummy papa dono ke saath hi celebrate larna है now what should anupama do in. Such conditions?

I am not understanding if kids like her so much why they never left dad house with her after divorce when mother was questoned for staying out on rainy day after divorce also

Anupam agoes everyday to that house saying its my mayka my mom dad there. My kids there she only uses as blackmail tactics when anuj or Malvika question her. If mother loved kids so much tell them to stay with her in apartment when she was alone why stay with father only? Mother also not interested to get kids to her house and kids also not interested to stay with mother because she was alone so far. Only when anuj or Malvika questions convinently to defend herself she starts vanraj is my kids father drama or i love my kids drama. If she love so much why they never stay with her after divorce? After their father betrayed her?

Till today i never heard any child who has a mother stay with step mom and father in fathers house after father mother divorce. Even adult sons or daughters move out with mother only after divorce not stay with step mom and father. They leave and go with mother after divorce usually 100%. But looks like all three kids not bothered to live with their mom neither anupama called them to stay with her permanently. But this is convinent reason for her to go to in laws house call it mayka and interefere in kavya house and marraige. Now its not anupama house its kavya house. She can call her kids to her home to meet or meet in dance school or hotel but no she has to go everyday saying my kids are there.

Shes interfering in kavyas life and marraige and home too much. House does not remain her after divorce. So many times baa and kavya and vanraj told her this is not your house do not speak or interfere. But everyday shes going to talk in between in that house just like rakhi dave. Stay out its kavy aand vanraj home. Take your kids whoever want to come and walk off thats what woman do. And all over world not india alone. They cut all relation with ex hubby and in laws. But for anupama its her mayka what a joke? Nice way to keep relation with ex hubby and ex in laws and torture your current husband and his family members.

Exactly. Rakhi has always has been better mother and person than Anupamaa.

As others pointed out Anupamaa is hypocrite. Rakhi speaks as she feels. I don't see anything wrong with it. She might have had some dialogs which were problematic but Anupamaa's hypocrisy surpasses it any given time. I still can't forget how she pulled that mera baa ka jhoola stunt and sprayed Ganga water on it. I don't see Rakhi doing anything special ..which Shah family doesn't do on regular basis.

As a mother- how kinjal turned out is a great example. Kinjal is successful, independent and a way better human than Anupamaa's kids. Only complaint I have for kinjal is failing to see how terrible Shah are, failing to refuse to be Anupamaa 2.0 and how she keeps failing to be a good daughter to her actual mother.

Rakhi is way better than Shahs and Anupamaa. Period.

But when she sit on jhoola second time ganga jal chidka gaya

So I will blame writer for such showing nonsense thing

Agar anupama ka character aisa hota to anupama pehli bhi ganga jal childak sakti thi but usne nahi chidka

So clearly it is writer fault kabbi khuch bhi lllogical cheek dikhane laga jaaye है
