Its funny when other stars give flops they are considered big unsuccessful losers, yet SRK hasnt had a clean hit since 2013 and yet he's being celebrated here🤣 Nothing against SRK, I dont question his stardom, and I do think it was a bad phase..... but the sheer contradiction that lives in IF never fails to amaze me. Different rules for different people. and I am called illogical on here😆
Firstly..... man, am I relieved that someone who literally brandishes anti-nepo flag everywhere has nothing against SRK. I dislike Alia too but SRK has always had my heart. He's much more than just a movie actor in my opinion. I have a lot of respect for his entire life journey, hold him in a very high regard cuz he has qualities I truly admire in people and how his movies fare in the BO has very little to do with it. They're an added bonus at this point, not a necessity.
Different rules for different people is the norm in this case because one rule doesn't apply to every celeb in the industry. No one has the same stardom and fanbase as SRK's.... so, why should he be treated like someone who might still be trying to gain a foothold through hits and blockbusters? People are usually written off if they haven't quite made it and fall flat on their faces despite trying and trying. SRK already conquered that first part, in such an unparalleled way that even if he continues making flops for the next decade, his fanbase and stardom will never lose their shine. As such, he is immune to half the things other stars can't afford cuz no one has tasted his level of stardom yet.
