sanjay dutt's career peaked with films like saajan, sadak, adharm, khalnayak and Gumrah between 1991 - 1993. Though he got arrested which impacted his career in a big way, but if you see that after 1993, he had a clean hit in 1999 with daag - the fire. In between all his films were flops or not that successful. Also, he himself is to be blamed mostly because of his drugs, affairs, criminal cases and underworld links. Nobody knows how his career would have turned up if he hadn't made those big mistakes.
