akshay is my favourite but honestly this is the reason why he gets a lot of hate from fans of other stars, he can't have 10 big budget movies releasing in space of 2 years, and that's another reason why he hasn't yet delivered a 300 crore net collection because of overexposure every year. A movie like ram setu and PRC should be given a lot longer time to make but he finished it less than 2 months, hence why such movies which deserve recognition and more time will end up forgotten. He should change his style, he can't have so many big movies releasing every single year, or if he wants to do 4 movies or 5 movies a year then make 3 low budget and 2 big budget, release 3 in OTT platform and 2 biggies on theatres so that won't affect his collection of movies, despite Sooryavanshi being highest grossing movie of the year, it has the worst footfalls and with limited big movies released this year he was lucky to give a hgoty or in normal situation he wouldn't be able to do that. He has big fan following and has the reach to give competition to the Khan's but not with 4 or 5 movies releasing every year, he's like an a new actress signing anything comes his way.

Didn't Bell Bottom also flop? But overall he has had a great streak since 2016 (even with mostly forgettable movies) so it makes sense that he wants to milk this

This makes little to no sense.  60% of 300cr would be 180cr in just up front fees.  For Akshay and Tiger?  Why?   Can either of them guarantee a 300cr+  blockbuster?   Or even 200+?   Salman doesn't even take that much up front.

Big actors in big budget films normally take part up front and the rest on back end for a % of the profit.  Including Akshay - since no one was giving him his rumored 135cr up front before.
