Had my first crush when I was 9 (class 4), he was a classmate. Next year I was moved in another class and uske baad he left the school (probably the city too). So there ends our story.
Next comes when I was 12 (class 7). This guy was in the new class. We chatted on and off for 2 years regarding studies. But in class 7, I started having a crush on him and guess what, he asks me for my number. Now this was a big deal back 10 years ago, there was very little social media, no personal phones etc. But now the villain enters. So another guy from my class hears him asking me and spreads the news in the class. Ab poori class ki nazar hum dono par hai. A little background information about us, I am a very reserved person who keeps to myself and he was someone who held positions like head boy and house captain but he is from South India and couldn't speak Hindi fluently, so his interaction was very limited. Okay back to story, very few people had my number (it was my mom's number actually), so in all this drama, I said I will ask my mom. With all eyes on us, it became too awkward for us. Even looking at each other brought cheering from the class. No quiet moment. He lived far from my place, so there was no after school life for us. Phir kya, class cupid banne chali thi, villain ban gayi 🤣
Saw him last on the internals of 10th board, with my friends singing "Saajan ji Ghar aaye" in my ears, because we got separated in class 10th 🤣
