Chapter - 5
Third Person's Point of View
The evening was silent and comfortable. The students were roaming around the campus. Chatting with each other, they were looking for the next project they needed to complete next. One of the reputed medical colleges in India was expected to be busy all the time. However, today was a bit exception. The last day of the final year students was being celebrated through various activities apart from the studies or professional events.
In the cafeteria, a group of newly turned junior doctors were engaging with each other, while sipping coffee from their plastic cups. The last day before their convocation; the last day before they would be scattered around the world. A man in his early 20's was paying bills for his fellow mates, whereas, others were clicking selfies, including him in the frame.
"Come fast, dude!" 0ne of his classmates called him with a smile on his face.
He looked at him putting a smile on his face, after paying the bill for the last time for his friends. His green eyes were showing sadness for being separated from his classmates, yet happiness sparked for being able to hang out with his friends, after long period of time of their hardship.
"So, what's your plan for the next?" His friend Soumya said to him while checking his phone; he was waiting for his girlfriend to be arriving soon.
"Well for now going home." He replied with a grin on his face.
Can't wait to meet mom after a long time...

Riddhima's Point Of View
The event hall was really wide and spacious. White marvels on the glossy floor were glowing with the yellowish lights coming from the ceiling. The white walls turned glowing off white with the refection of the surrounds. In the middle of the hall, there was a circular stage; light was illuminating from the roof lighting up the whole atmosphere around it. Overall, the decoration was made with purple orchids with white tulips with it. Those were hanging from the wall showcasing the elegant taste of the decorator along with the party owners. I knew why they choosed to stick with white dress code now. Women and men walking around the hallway in off white wearings, were glorifying the beauty of the decoration radiantly.
I must say, they never failed to impress me with their sophistication in choice. I was looking at my surroundings with Isahani and observing the place with my rational mind as much as possible. However, my nervousness was winning against it every time. Just when I spotted, Mr. Rai Singhania coming towards us Ishani got a call in her phone leaving me behind with Mr. Rudra, our head. I controlled my anxiousness and looked at his direction with clear eyes. Coming near us, he stopped on a spot and greeted with a smile.
"Thank you so much for coming today. It is really prestigious for us to be engaged with your NGO." He shook his hand with our head while I gave him a smile of acknowledgement.
In his white attire, he was looking elegant as usual. His perfection for his appearance was clearly showing the hard work on him. In this glowing light his features were getting sharpen from earlier.
Wait... Snap it out, Riddhu!
"I hope you enjoy the party. Though it is nothing but charity. Still I would like to request you to stay longer." He said it while looking at me; his eyes were showing nothing but genuineness.
For a professional person like him, I didnot expect it coming. In my all years of being in this career, I was told to be cautious and meticulous, to understand the needs of the people, whom I worked with. It was kind of new for me to judge all of sudden.
I'm not misinterpreting. Am I?
"Sure. With pleasure." Our head replied; I nodded my head with an agreement.
He was about to say something further, a woman in long off white dress approached him from his behind. She said something in his left ear, before showing her tablet. His eyebrows crocked seeing the screen, before a small grin formed on his sharp face.
"Well, excuse me." Holding it on his hand, he walked out from us.
My eyes were searching for the person, whom I had come with to endure this evening. While my brain was calculating the money that the event organiser had spent to bring out the magnificence from it.
"...Showing off your money to the world, that's what they do..."
I chuckled.
You were not wrong, Sejal.
I noticed a sudden activity on the stage. The light fell off from the roof, on the host. Mr. Vansh Rai Singhania was holding a microphone with his professional smile. Lights began to dim down around us. A projector screen turned on slowly from his behind.
"Finally the purpose of this event has come. With a warm heart and gratitude I, Vansh Rai Singhania welcome everyone who has responded to my call. Thank you so much, ladies and gentlemen for being a part of this charity organisation." Applause of the guests filled in the event hall after his voice.
"Where are you, Isahani?" I murmured while taking my phone from my purse.
"As you all know..." He continued his speech.
Hurriedly, I called Ishani. She wasn't picking up. I was about to go the direction, where she moved on, my eyes caught her walking near us. I stopped calling her after getting her reason for not picking up. It must be the loud noises coming from the background.
"There you are." I said; she gave me a look of apology.
"Sorry, Riddhu. It was urgent." She finished while looking at our front.
She stood beside my right side. One by one, unknown faces with sophisticated attires were coming on the stage. Hearing the speech I got to know about them. Mr. Singhania was introducing his family members to us. I was looking at the other guests. All of their eyes were on them. It was new to me. However, I needed to survive this environment. I looked at Ishani to talk about the thoughts I was having; but controlled myself. Her eyes were on the stage, lips were thin. Which surprise me was the emotions she was having in those blue orbs.
Anger and Resentment?
Ishani didn't like rich people. Was it reflection of that?

Vansh's Point Of View
It was when Angre got a call from his family; he headed out to the parking lot area. They were coming here and he needed to escort them thoroughly. His mother had suffered from dengue recently. Even though, she wanted to attend it. She didn't want to be absent on her friend's named charity.
Our mothers used to be friends once.
Though My mind was stucked with the woman in white, entering the hall. It didn't take me long to respond it. My body began to move of it's own.
What is happening?
Hiding my state of confusion, I walked to them. She and the head was standing there. While Ishani left the place with her phone, before I could go near.
Nice tactics!
I chuckled lowly before standing in front of my guests.
"Thank you so much for coming today. It is really prestigious for us to be engaged with your NGO." I said politely, eyeing her face.
It was me and the Mr. Rudra, who were talking after that. She was nodding her head smilingly. I wanted to talk to her continuously, without knowing the reason of it. While her head's responds were getting into my nerves repeatedly.
Did I catch Angre's virus? What the hell?
Meanwhile, my secretary came holding the guest list on her tablet. Whispering, she asked for my permission.
"Sir, should we start the programme now? Guests have reached already. Press has come as well." I nodded my head while taking it from her.

"...With due respect, I would like to introduce my family members, the stars behind this charity. Please welcome, my grandmother, Mrs. Indrani Rai Singhania." With her elegant white outfit she showed up near the stage.
"Uncle and Aunt, respectively, Mr. Rudra Rai Singhania and Mrs. Chanchal Rai Singhania." Uncle came to the stage holding grandma's left hand.
Aunt stayed there behind, clapping her hands with the audience.
"My mother, Anupriya Rai Singhania, without whom I wouldn't have reached this height, today." I paused; the light fell on her smiling face standing beside aunt.
"Last but not least, my sibling and cousin, Siya Rai Singhania and Aryan Rai Singhania who just returned from his medical college competing his degree." The light shined on them.
With his green eyes he looked at everyone holding a grin on his face. Siya was giving her confident smile looking at grandma. On the projector the names of the organisations and the amount of money that they got donated, were showing. Grandma and uncle Rudra were on stage standing beside me.
"The charity, Uma memorial, was established remembering the person herself. She used to love helping others in needs. Thank you so much for coming and making this event successful. I would like to dedicate this beautiful night on the name of my mother, Late. Uma Rai Singhania and father, Late. Ajay Rai Singhania." I smiled while looking at the person who was staring at me directly from the audience.
Her eyes were sparkling listening my words. For some unknown reasons, my heart felt an ease. A warmth spread in my chest; I felt proud of myself. My smile broadened.
I hope, you stay here longer tonight....

While talking with Aryan and Chanchal aunty, I noticed Ishani going upstairs, on the way to balcony. My smirk got bigger.
I was waiting for this opportunity.
"Excuse me. I'm coming back soon." I said while giving them a nod.
I followed the path silently before getting caught in someone's eyes. The hall was quite bright now. Though this area was mild dark. Looking at the upstairs I began to follow her. She almost reached the place. I was keeping tract on her. Before taking the turn, I eyed my guests for being cautious. None was near.
She was standing beside the balcony guard rods. White and yellow fairy lights were glowing from her back, reflecting on her off white dress. Her face was on the other side; I wasn't being able to see her face from her long hair. Sensing my presence, she looked at my direction.
"Hello, Ishani!" I smirked while looking at her changing expressions.
Anger to pain. Finally rage.
"What are you doing here?" Her voice was hard, burning fire.
"Well, I'm the host. So?" I smirked while putting my weight on the wall near the door.
"Hah. Thanks for letting me know." She replied jeeringly while about to walk out from the place.
"Aren't you going to greet your own twin brother?" I said when she crossed the door.
"Better be alone, than having a brother like you!" She left me with her cold toned statement.
I smirked gazing at the place from the second floor balcony.
Just wait a bit longer, Ishani. The game will be on soon!

Riddhima's Point Of View
After taking our dinner, we were having talk with other NGOs. They had been engaged with this charitable trust since the beginning and they were never disappointed by them. It was a good sign. Just when I was about to ask their contacts, Ishani murmured into my ear.
"I'm going to take a call and fresh air. Will make it soon. Okay?" I nodded my head knowing her habit.
Being an introvert it wasn't easy for her to handle crowd for long. She needed to save her energy till we reached our homes. It was better than I thought. Everyone was quite friendly and some of them even told us for collaborations in events. It was a great opportunity to gain popularity for our agency.
More than thirty minutes passed since she left. My worries began to grow again. I looked at my phone. It was 9 o'clock already. We needed to head home now. After dropping me, she had to go further. Without wasting more time, I started to walk on the direction she had headed before. It took me a while, when I noticed her climbing down from the staircase, putting her left hand on her face.
"Isahani, we need to.." I stopped on midway, noticing her mist eyes.
Did she cry?
"Are you okay?" She hold my hand before heading towards the crowd again.
"I'm feeling cold, Riddhu. Let's go home." She replied with a bit shaky voice.
I didn't say anything. Understanding her habit of bottling up her emotions, I let her pulling me with her.
We can talk about it later.
°°°°°°°°°°°
It had been two weeks since that party. The press had done a great job to showcase it to the world. We were getting pretty much offers for fund raising every day. Our head was happy along with the staffs. It wasn't completely fruitless at all.
Smilingly, I headed towards my office cabin, holding the files for my extra works. Today was Friday. Before the end of this weekend I needed to complete it somehow.
While walking on the floor, I noticed a crowd outside of Ishu's cabin. I came near my room.
"What's going on?" I asked my assistant who was standing beside my room's door.
With an initial hesitation she replied, gazing me.
"Ishani ma'am is leaving the organisation. Rai Singhania's hired her."
Wait... What!?
