Actually that happens. Read about water memory. Its amazing and fascinating. As a kid I was always taught to drink water sitting down and with a smile.

watch it on YT. they have documentaries and experiments done on it. 

In India it was know for centuries all of these are in some or the other scriptures but now we are relearning these from west.
