Australia and South Africa will kick-start the Super 12 round of ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021 today at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
Australia, who is searching for its maiden World T20 title, enter the tournament on the back of a horrific run, losing bilateral series to Bangladesh, West Indies, New Zealand, India and England.
Meanwhile, South Africa also do not had much success in recent years.
South Africa is likely to field three spinners against the Australians, as hinted by captain Temba Bavuma ahead of today's match.
The good news for the Proteas is that their top-class spinner Tabraiz Shamsi is fit and will be drafted in South Africa. Menwahile, Australia is expected to stick with David Warner at the top even though the Southpaw has been going through a torrid form.
However, the Kangaroos have an advantage of their world-class pace attack, comprises Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood.

T20 World Cup 2021: Former Australia leg-spinner Shane Warne took to Twitter to reveal his two favourites for the T20 World Cup.
Shane Warne said that he considered India and England as the favourites for the title.
"I think Eng & India have to go in as fav's for the T/20 WC. NZ always perform well in @ICC events too. But I have a feeling the Aussies are being underestimated as they have a lot of match winners in their squad. Then you have Pakistan & the Wi. Excited to see who will win," Warne wrote on Twitter.
