They didn't think Sai would get so much love as a character due to her brash attitude but she did. Totally agree with your assessment of Virat. An ACP who is pretty dumb when it comes to his family. He cannot read body language (Cannot make out when someone is lying) I believe IPS officers are trained for that!

About Sai: a teenager brat in her initial days, the sun rose and set on her Aaba. Then came the feeling of being an orphan, according to Psych analysis, there are only two ways in which A person would behave after marriage. One is total aloofness to the Chavan family, focussing with a tunnel vision to her MBBS course. That would have been the real situation. Second is the way she behaved in the serial. Convenience. When the going is good, she is Virat's wife. When not, she reminds everyone including the Panditji, that her marriage is a deal. Her grossest mistake was the anniversary blunder. She conveniently forgot that she also gave love vibes to Virat. More than one instance are there. She even accused Virat's character. Conveniently forgot that he has never crossed his limit with her.

Pakhi: The scorned woman. Once she realized that virat is her Devar, she tried to get her rights over him even after his marriage. I am confused about the vada Virat gave her. Did that mean that he was to remain celebate forever? How is that even possible? It means I am unable to lose weight, so you better stick to the gym and dont ever come out of it?

She has been supported in this by BKaku (her own axe to grind against Sai) Omi and Ninad as well. Along with the yes women of the family, Sonali and Karishma.

She refuses to take no for an answer. Totally delusional Innumerable times Virat has shown her the door (during separation track) then after the first accident (the only problem was that these things never happened in front of everyone, even Sai) And now after the second accident..luckily that was in Sai's presence.

True, I completely agree with all the above points. It's like you have written my exact thoughts regarding the character. Virat and Pakhi were meant to be those star crossed lovers who never met but had deep emotional connect, like they show in many Ekta Kapoor plots like KZK . Sai was supposed to be some sort of a villain of their love story, given her brash, harsh, giving back to even the elders kind of attitude, was very different from the main stream ITV bahu, the susheel sanskari types, maybe they thought she would never be accepted by audience and Pakhi will be the FL who takes away the sympathy by her Sundar susheel attire, sugary sweet words and respecting and supporting elders, however they are, kind of attitude. But Sai was fresh change, Ayesha was good, helped audience connect to Sai, other one just failed on all the levels.

They tried, Pakhi was actually given good lines, like in Saturday's episode, where if another actor was there, you would feel bad for the character but this actor's pathetic, over aggressive acting would not let you feel the pain of the character and sympathetic for her. She lacks an ounce of softness of expressions, uses all the facial muscles, looks bad.

I heard her Bengali counterpart actually was loved by audience because of actor's acting but this one just fails to deliver everytime, how much ever screen space she is given. The character is the most complex of the three, she lives in her delusions, far from reality, perceives things differently, but to portray the emotions, they needed a good, experienced actor.

Yep, the golden era of ACP was when he was staying apart from the family. This kartavya thing worked only for his marriage with Sai, because that time Pakhi was his pyaar, Sai his kartavya. Now its all about family politics and sometimes he being the judge, sometimes mute spectator, other times a pendulum, changing sides. They don't even show him going to work anymore.

When Sai and Virat are on good terms, they are husband-wife. Actually she was his wife since day 1 but that pyaarosti and pyaari cheez slipups gave her way to his psych which made her feel like some majboori to Virat. After that, they progressed but Pakhi's presence never let go off the ambiguity and the perceived 'majboori' in their relationship. The anniversary issue flared up but then Virat's reaction to that was even worse. Many-a-times when you feel betrayed or are hurt of something, you won't remember the good moments but of the moments that hurt you and sadly in Sai and Virat's relationship, they have plenty of those. Good moments too have this insecurity running in the background of the marriage as a whole not being real.

Pakhi was a layered, jilted lover, actor couldn't give justice to the role. She wanted Virat to long for her throughout life as a punishment of rejecting her. For kaku, her blind support in Samrat's absence is going to bite her soon, ninad is Vahini's bhakt and omi family won't want a lovable couple in the new generation, given their insecurities regarding Mohit's stand in the house. Supporting Pakhi would make Samrakhi not to sail and create roadblocks for SaiRat too, in that case, only 'normal' couple in the house remain Mohit- Karishma.

I think she cannot take no for an answer from Samrat too. Sometimes, I wonder if Samrat would have said no for marriage or a new beginning after he came back, how would she react.

Though often I fail to understand why Sai brings Pakhi in every single topic 😕

Virat : Pendulum chavan.. Extremely complex character.. I am amazed by his emotional intelligence.. Neither I find him intellectual as person who can't read human's intentions being an acp.. 🤢
