We had two threads on Hrithik comparing him with many other actors.
How do you rate Hrithik as an actor? Is he best in BW or overhyped?

He is a great actor when it comes to drama, melodrama/angst & historical kind of roles. Just keep him far far away from comedy and light hearted romance please. Otherwise splendid actor, splendid dancer and splendid looker (🔥). Not overrated at all.
I personally found him to be at his peak best in Agneepath. I was also super depressed when watching him in Koi Mil Gaya. Oh god when the school kids broke his scooter and the way he cried. I’ll never forgive the little fcukers! 😡😠🤬
Why?
Great, as long as it's not comedy, which is his obvious weak point.
Because I had the misfortune of watching his “acting”.
I hope some tv producer reads this.😆
8/10, easily.
As an actor he's not the absolute best out there but his actual good work in Koi Mil Gaya, Lakshya, Jodhaa Akbar, Guzaarish, ZNMD, Agneepath, Kaabil, Super 30 get underrated because people like using his hamming in MPKDH against him. Yes, he is weak at comedy but aside from that, he's very versatile.
And he's splendid when it comes to emotional scenes. Cried my eyes out here, when he sells paan on his bicycle and during the Cambridge letter scene

And this scene was powerful, his presence elevated it and how. Don't tell me that Pankaj Tripathi would have done better yada yada, maybe he would have, but Hrithik's onscreen charisma is something else.

And of course, he's absolutely top notch when it comes to stylish action movies, so smooth and good-looking (War, Dhoom 2 sigh ). This is so much fun xD
Remember us when you are famous. I will look forward to your pap pics out of the gym and articles about how you are breaking the internet 😃
He can be anywhere from a 1 to a 7 on scale of 1-10. Just depends on the movie. Like most Indian actors he often crosses the line between being dramatic and overacting.
