Part 1
The story begins with a beauty contest & singing contest in the school on the annual day function.
Simar aspires to become a singer, while Reema wants to become a model.
Both sisters get excited about their competition & are pretty confident of securing first place.
The school principal announces the winners of the singing & beauty contest. She makes an announcement, “The first prize in the singing competition goes to Simar Narayan.”
When the principal announced the beauty contest winner, Reema came forward to collect the trophy.
But the principal said, “The first prize in the beauty contest goes to Simar Narayan.”
Everybody claps. Simar gets surprised.
She comes forward & collects the prize. Reema is dismayed.
Principal: The second prize goes to Simar's elder sister, Reema Narayan.
Reema: I am not going to take the second prize. I will only take the first prize. Also, Simar already got the first prize in the singing competition, which I can understand. Simmi is an excellent singer, but not as beautiful as me. Simar doesn’t even have a beautiful dress like me.
Principal: It is the judge's decision, not mine.
Reema: Their decision is wrong. I have been getting the first prize every year, and my dress is better than hers.
Principal: Reema, I agree, but is it necessary to be announced as a winner like other years? Behave yourself and take your prize.
Reema: I have never lost in my life & only I have a right over the beauty contest trophy.
Simar gives her trophy to Reema and takes the second prize. Everyone claps.
The principal tells Simar, "It is now your turn."
Simar goes to Reema & says, "Can you give me this trophy for a minute?"
Reema: Yes, but I have a condition. If you let me carry your singing competition trophy, then I will share my trophy.
Reema: Why should I share my things?
Simar: Then how can you expect me to share with you? But I will share it with you.
Reema takes her singing competition trophy from Simar & refuses to give it back to her.
Simar: Look, Reema, I understand your passion for modeling, but why do you want my singer trophy?
Reema slapped Simar and said, "You will win against me? Who asked you to give it to me?"
Simarcries. Avinash came up and said, "What kind of misbehavior is this?"
He then consoles Simar.
Mataji then went to Indu and said, "See this the result of your leniency towards Reema. Teach your elder daughter to accept defeat and the younger one to accept victory; otherwise, it won't be good for both the girls."
15 Years Leap
Back home, Reema admires herself with the trophy and tells herself, "Reema, you are gorgeous.”
She goes for the audition in Kwality Productions in pursuit of her acting & modeling career.
Simar practices her singing & attends her interview in T-Series.
Reema gets selected in the modeling company, while T-Series select Simar as a singer.
The grooming classes begin for both girls.
Meanwhile, Aarav & Vivaan join Oswal Industries after completing their MBA in the USA.
Gitanjali takes them to the board meeting & says, “They are my grandsons who have come from abroad to take over the empire.”
After the training hours, Simar goes to the music shop to buy the piano to practice karaoke. Later, she also buys the CD.
Aarav comes to the same place to get the video & audio recorder.
Aarav & Simar collide with each other. They share an eye lock.
Simar: I am sorry.
Aarav: It's okay.
While they were going further, Aarav saw a car about to take the life of a puppy. He moves forward to save it, but Simar saves the puppy before Aarav.
Aarav sees that & smiles at her.
Aarav: Thanks for saving my puppy.
Simar: You are welcome. I guess you are Aarav Oswal. I have read a lot about you.
Aarav smiles: Yes, you are right. I heard your voice recording & your voice is very much impressive.
Simar: Thanks.
She goes home happy and meets Avinash.
Simar: Do you know whom I met today?
Avinash: Is he Aarav Oswal.
Simar: How do you know?
Avinash: Your face says many things, and you are his big fan. How does he look?
Simar: He is very handsome.
Avinash: You have made an excellent choice. I was longing to meet Aarav to invite him to our house for a cup of tea to talk about your marriage with him.
Simar blushes. She goes to the room & imagines Aarav coming to Narayan's house.
Aarav: I know that you watched my interview on TV.
Simar: Yes, I am your diehard fan.
Aarav: And what else am I to you?
Simar: I get many thoughts about you, but I can only imagine you in my dreams, not in reality.
Aarav: If I say that I love you and want to spend my life with you, what is your take on that?
Simar blushes. Her dream song

The next day
Aarav visits the studio where Devesh takes the photoshoots.
He looks at Reema & gets attracted to her in the first instance.
After the shoot, Reema tries to get a taxi or the auto to go home but fails to get them.
Aarav: The vehicles won’t ply as today is the strike. If you don’t mind, shall I drop you?
Reema agrees.
While they were on the way, Aarav asked, “What is your name?”
Reema: I am Reema Narayan. What is yours?
Aarav: I am Aarav Oswal, director of Oswal Industries.
He drops Reema to her place.
Aarav, Simar, & Reema have the phone numbers of each other.
The next day, Vivaan comes to the photo studio & gets mesmerized by Meera’s looks & style.
Vivaan: Reema, your pics have come perfectly. Maintain the same shape.
Reema: Thank you.
Suddenly Reema gets the message. She checks her phone & finds Aarav’s message for a date to Taj Hotel.
Reema meets Aarav the next day.
Aarav: What do you want to order?
Reema: Cold Coffee.
The waiter comes.
Aarav: We want two cups of cold coffee.
The song Maahiya plays
Aarav: What have you thought about your future?
Reema: I want to establish my career in modeling.
Aarav: What about your marriage?
Reema: I have not thought about it as I have just started my career.
Aarav: So what? I will support you in your career.
Devesh meets Aarav and Reema in the hotel.
Devesh: Congratulations, Reema, you got selected for the modeling contract.
Reema: Thank you.
Aarav: Have you brought the contract papers?
Devesh: Reema will get those papers once she comes to the office.
Reema: But how come so fast? My grooming has just started.
Devesh: You are a talented lady & I believe that you will do well in that field.
Aarav: Reema will decide depending on the terms and conditions mentioned in the contract. If you get those papers, we can have a look at them.
Devesh: She will get the contract papers. It won't run away.
Aarav: Fine, we will come to the office tomorrow.
The next day, Aarav and Reema go to Devesh's office to look at the papers.
