It had been 4 years 4 months since they parted their ways ... Imlie had achieved great heights her work for the tribal community was very well received and she had received many accolades for the same ...
Adi used to follow-up on her stories through his fellow journalist articles and her interviews ... He was very proud of her achievement many a times he felt to reach out to her go meet her ... he yearned for her ... but he always thought she has moved on because her interviews she looked confident , her language was much clear as her thoughts and in a very happy space ... and he did not wanted to make her unhappy ... he was sacrificing his wish to be with her but in vain as she also yearned for him.. every night she used to talk to his watch which she had picked up while leaving him ...
She was recently promoted and transferred to Delhi. It had been a week only she was in town and was in dilemma to meet the Tripathis or not but she just ignored that thought as he had to set-up her home and resume her duty too ...
It was commissioners son - Jai’s birthday party and he had invited Aditya as his 5 yr old son Sartak was friends with Jai. Sartak was Malini’s son and she had requested Adi to take care of him after her.
Commissioner thought to invite Imlie as she was new to town and this would give her opportunity to socialize and make new friends in town...
The party was very well organized there were many activities for kids to keep them engaged while parents get their space to socialize .
Imlie was meeting people .. Adi was also socializing with few other parents.. suddenly Adi saw Sartak pacifying a cute little girl in the play area ... the girl must be ~ 3.5 years old and Sartak managed to calm her down and both were happily playing .... he thought Sartak may mishandle her so he went to check on both ... and started having conversation with the girl, she was cute and he instantly connected with her ..after a while he asked her what is her name she said - Urvi
Urvi - he chuckled this was his fav name he remembered his conversation with Imlie about kids name.
where he had mentioned to Imlie “ Hume ek cute si Beti chaiye jo tumare jaisi naughty ho ... hum uska naam Urvi rakhne ge”
Imlie - “Urvi - baut hi pyaara naam hain isska matlab kya hain”
Adi- “ Urvi matlab Prithvi jo muje tumse baand kar rakhegi “
Imlie -“ aur hume beta hua toh ...”
Adi - “nahi hume beti hi hogi.. beta hua toh uska tum dekh lena 😊”
Imlie - “ hum uska naam Sarthak rakhenge”
Adi- “Sarthak accha hain “
Imlie - “Hain nah humare pyaar ka Sarthak 😊”
Adi - “Thik hain”
Urvi brought him back to senses from his flashback and asked him aapka naam kya hain ..
Adi - “Humara naam Aditya Kumar Tripathi hain “
Urvi - “ woh toh mere bhi papa ka naam hain “
Sarthak - “ tumare aur mere papa ka naam same same “
In mean time a voice came from behind
“Urvi chaloo kuch khathe hain”
the voice sounded familiar Adi turned back and it was Imlie he was stunned 😧
He looked at Imlie and then at Urvi and back to Imlie ..
Urvi said to Imlie “ok “
she said bye to Sarthak and then to Adi who was shocked this is first time Imlie looked at him and was pleasantly surprised to see Adi.
Both were speechless Adi stood didn’t know how to react to hug or shake hand tears started rolling from Imlie’s eyes they were of happiness she was smiling and crying .
Adi too was crying .. he asked her “ yeh humari Urvi hain”
She nodded ... both Sarthak and Urvi are looking at booth of them and are confused and are worried why their parents are crying ...
Imlie told Urvi - “ Urvi beta papa se Milogi”
Urvi nodded .
Imlie - “Yeh hain tumare papa hain”
Adi went on his knees to hold Urvi and hug and kiss her
He was just over whelmed ....
Sarthak looked at both and he also gave a group hug Imlie just stood there and watched them with a smile and tears in her eyes ..
Adi looked at her and asked her to join them in the group hug ....
He was satisfied to see his family being complete.
he needed to have a heart to heart conversation with Imlie but Filhal he was just enjoying the moment and his daughters presence which was a surprise gift for him.. and was showering all his love over her...
Imlie was content to see him so attached to both the kids while holding her hand both their heart was full ..
and then they lived happily ever after 😇
