Episode #145: A Love Never Lost... - Page 2

What can I say, I felt more emotional reading your write up and those of a few others in Jiggy's post tha  watching the actual episode. Saturday's Shurya Aastha scene gave me a warm fuzzy feeling but today's one did not make my eyes welled up as I had expected. I am one viewer who has been invested in Shaurya Aastha more than Shakhi. I loved the angst in their scenes. I wait for their scenes everyday but the last proper scene between them before Saturday was the one where he apologised. After that we didn't know how he felt about her. Today's scene was perhaps great in terms of execution, perhaps Shaurya was waiting for one small hint that she loved him to make him run to her and hug her ( I remember I had written this long time back). Yet today's reconciliation left me wanting. I wanted some more emotions, some more reflections, some more thehrav. A small monologue from Shaurya's side would have been nice. I didn't want it to be resolved in a 10 minutes scene. I wanted more angst. I wanted a few more episodes dedicated to this track. 

 Like I have written in another post, I wish Shaurya had left after getting overwhelmed with all the newfound information. Spent some time in solitude processing everything, recalling her efforts. Aastha would be left disappointed and anxious thinking she had hurt him again. Later they would meet when she came to help with the rustication fiasco. Then when she would be about to leave after everything is sorted, and there, in a quite solitary moment he would call her maa. Well this is my imagination. Guess the writers have a different one. I should make peace with it. 😆 

Waiting to see how the story unfolds now.

This episode will remain one of my most favourite episodes without romance....

I completely agree with you that the pace of their reunion was at the exact speed required not rushed or too early at all ...because if we notice from the episode of anokhi's admission day itself we could see the amount of anger he had towards his mother for not fighting for him...it was on that episode itself we saw shaurya getting emotional on seeing mother son in market.....

Later they have always shown shaurya astha scenes where he went to his mother but not listened to her , his desperation to see her on hospital bed etc....

He always had that yearn to reach out to her ,hug her and pour his heart out to her but continuous toxicity from devi about astha pulled him back ....he never got a reason to even start  a conversation with astha...because if we look carefully just a heart felt talk between these two maa beta is enough for initiating their lost bond all over again .....

One great push was required for shaurya to think  about his mother beyond Devi's continuous talk on his past pains ...and anokhi became that soothing gentle breeze of love...the conversation between them on the rain sequence day was exactly apt not too long not too short but shaurya got the exact message from her that all he need is to give up all the hate and anger he has towards astha so that he will be relieved from the pain and hence healing himself for an all new peaceful life ......

When he finally reached astha today , it was evident that he was relieved because he wanted to thanks her heartly for bringing anokhi in his life and start afresh with astha ....eventhough it was not of a normal maa beta....here shaurya took the initiative in their relationship...so now it was astha's turn to clear the air for him to accept her as his maa.....hence I applaud the writers for finally making astha speak up about what all she told him today...

Shaurya has always been astha's son deep down the heart and that was the thing that protected his golden heart away from the toxic world he has been living all these years in the SM...and thus astha's son with such a golden heart needed just a small assurance from his mother that she has been there around him all these years at his special moments....for the first time he felt happy that he was wrong all those times misunderstanding her and hence he couldn't stop himself from whole heartedly accepting her his maa again....

Hatsoff to the cvs for such a realistic speed and reunion😭

❤️❤️...I bet if they followed the usual routine of 3-4 episodes on this union alone, it would have felt overstretched😆.....

But I think this is not the end of shaurya astha track but this is just their beginning.....now this bond is required for astha to support his son and him crying out to her when needed and I hope shaurya being extremely sharp and brilliant connect the dots on his own to find the exact reasons why astha left SM.....😎

So I hope this is just the beginning of new storm coming in the upcoming tracks❤️

I am sure this is just the beginning of Shaurya and Aastha's relationship. Like I said in the post, there are a lot of issues yet to be addressed and until they are out in open, Shaurya won't completely understand Anokhi's point. 

This relationship has been revived after 25 yrs of separation and pain, so there will be moments of doubt and anger in it but they have just started building a bridge.... So we have to wait until it is completed and ready to use.

Emotions the, Pyaar tha, Determination tha... It was an unexpected surprise for many. SAAKK is spoiling me by giving so many beautiful episodes! 

I saw many posts and tweets on the 'fast pace' of the show but let me ask you, when has SAAKK ever dragged a track for long? 

This track has been pending ever since Shaurya's birthday and has taken off beautifully today. I am sure what's coming next will be beyond par! 

Starting off with the most heart-wrenching memory Shaurya has of his mother. 

25 years ago he saw her leave his house but she never left his heart. It is true, we only hate people who we love. We get disappointed only when we have expectations and we expects things only from the ones who we believe are ours. 

He always wanted to have that love. He yearned for it.

All the lies he was told, hurt him more than he could openly express. He tried to tell himself that his mother didn't care, so he shouldn't either. But he could not stop himself. 

"Yahi Toh Jad Hai Aapke Dard Ki.."

Shaurya tried it the "Nafrat" way for 25 long years, now he decided he should try the "Aage Badho" way. He was not here to accept her as his mother in his life. He clearly wanted to give up the hatred and accept things as they are so that he could unburden the weight of their past. They could be cordial or friendly even if not normal mother-son. 

It started off with subtle teasing of "Do-Teen Din Reh Paoge Anokhi Ke Bagair?"

But waha bhi Shaurya jhooth nahi bol paya. Apart from Kanchan, Aastha is the first person who took their relationship in a positive note. He blushed and confided with, "Try Karoonga... Agar Reh Paya Toh Thik Hai, Agar Nahi Reh Paya Toh Wapas Aajaunga.."

"Aur Agar Mei Nahi Gaya Aur Yaha Ruk Gaya Toh?"

"Tumhe Yeh Sab Puchne Ki Zaroorat Nahi Hai, Shaurya."

The tone was so casual that you could have missed the excitement and hope. It warmed him up know that Aastha's doors were open for him. The absent mother was ready to let him in! 

Years of separation and bitterness could not erase the sweetness of 'Besan Ka Halwa'. Kitne haqq se halwa manga apni maa se. She stayed in his heart even when all he had was 4 years of memories with her. 

Galati toh Devi ne Shaurya ko underestimate karke ki hai. Maine toh bol rakha tha, Devi ke liye sadm-oo ki line lagne wali hai. Patiala is just a trailer. She wanted to push Anokhi out of Shaurya's life, instead ended up pushing Shaurya into Aastha's comforting arms.

Shaan was a big time disappointment and I hope Shaurya isn't planning to get them remarried soon. Shaan still has a spine to search. 

Shaurya deserved this apology. 

His suffering cannot be undone but maybe it can ease the burn a little. Maafi marham ka kaam karti hai. His face showed it all... 

He wasn't expecting an apology from her. He has been raised to believe that Aastha did what she thought was right, she didn't care, she ain't the one to feel apologetic. And here was the woman apologizing for her actions. 

Not only that, she admitted that her decision was WRONG and a mistake. 

Discarding the thought that she didn't care is difficult. 

Shaurya believed it for so long that it has been his only truth since she left. But now Aastha claiming that she does care, she tried to fight for him is contradicting his truth of 25 years. It quakes the foundation of hatred and stability. 

"Haa. Har Annual Function Ka, Har Ek Sport's Day Ka, 

Tumhare Har Ek Janam Din Par, 

Tumhari Har Khushi Mei Mai Shamil Thi, Shaurya.

Dur Se Hi Sahi, Lekin Tumhare Aas Paas Hi Thi..

Tumhari Nazaro Se Dur Par Tumhare Dil Ke Paas"

That's all he ever wanted. 

To know that she was there. She came for him. He wanted to know he was loved by his mother. 

For 25yrs he hoped that he was enough for his parents. He was worth fighting for. 

A day cannot wipe out years of pain. For now, Shaurya is relieved to know that Aastha is exactly the kinda mother he hoped for... Aastha made a mistake but she is just human. 

True, his parent's mistakes caused tremendous amount of pain to him but he is starting to understand that situations were not in their favor either. It is a slow and steady journey. He has waited for 25 years looking for some sign that Aastha is not what he has been told by others and now that he has the chance, he is gonna grab it with both hands. 

"I'm Very Sorry... MAA"

Anokhi questioned him on the day of their marriage, she asked him why did he not try to understand his mother after he grew up. He understood that today, even without knowing the whole truth, he understood that all those harsh words should not have been spoken. 

He felt sorry for not reaching out sooner, for holding on to that anger even when she tried to reach him. 

It might seem wrong to many... Many might feel Shaurya has nothing to apologize for, but this is the kind of man Shaurya is... 

If a person takes a single step forward FOR HIM, and Shaurya will hold their hand and walk a mile for them! 

He is grateful and cherishes all the love he can get. 

Hearing the word 'MAA' from her son was a dream she had given up on... And Shaurya had given up on ever getting a chance to say that word with love and belongingness. 

Finally, Maa ne apne bete ke aansu poche hai 25 saal baad. 

Laddoo nahi sunna... Lekin sunna bhi hai... 

Ek Maa se pucho, kaisa feel hota hai jab 

baccha aake gale lag jata hai... 

"Mujhe Meri Padhai, Mera Career,

Mera Pyaar...

Mujhe Sab Kuch Chahiye!

Koi Mujhse Kuch Nahi Cheen Sakta. Koi Nahi!"

Yeh shabd nahi hai, Anokhi ka faisla hai. Anokhi is a sherni who can protect and hunt. She won't mop and wait for her sher to come and fight for her. 

Anokhi has learnt well. Jaha apko apna haqq na mile, waha jhapat kar apna haqq cheen lena chahiye. She is is not going to give up one thing for another. Anokhi is going to set an example that ambitious women deserve their career as much as they deserve their relationships.

BTW, aaj Ahir ne bhi accha gyaan diya... Nikki ko bhi yakeen nahi ho raha tha 😆

I love these two points you made. Shaurya was emotionally ready for this talk. He was trying a new approach when it came to his mom, at the behest of his wife!! And just having an inkling that he wasn't forgotten by his mother, was enough for him to leap into her arms. We complain that he's impulsive when he makes decisions........this is one time that his impulsiveness makes sense. He loves his mother. He learned that she loves him and has always loved him. That's all the man needs...love!!

Ouff beautiful beautiful post Akshu! The fact that SS was just looking for a sign that she loved him  all this while, broke my heart. It’s seems so little, but was enough to placate his pain of all those years. 🥺❤️

Like Lavanya mentioned in one of her posts , Anokhi is truly his guardian angel , for pushing him to introspect and talk to his mom.Thanks to her, we got those heart warming scenes of Maa-Beta! ❤️😍🙌

this episode has my total heart. He’s finally seeing the people who really love him in his life and he’s getting to finally experience that is truly beautiful. I had posted on Twitter how he’s officially Mr Shaurya Ladoo Kashyap to me. I can’t wait to see this mother-son relationship build more. Because he’s not going to let her go. Not a chance. He finally found that mother love he’s been craving for. The two women in his life will fight for him and alongside him and I can’t wait. 

Sabs are in for a real heart attack. And I hope Devi’s world gets rocked.
