Neil is a very good actor but I don’t think he is some srk level legend to be able to romance even a tree. I think his chemistry with Sai is so amazing because apart from Neil there is Ayeshas reactions/ emotions which are bang on. In dupatta scene both Sai and Virat close ups are shown. and I don’t know if he is deliberately underplaying with pp but for me right from the beginning he has not had any such onscreen chemistry with pp that he has with Sai. It’s surprising given that they are a real life couple. That’s probably coz actor playing pp is pretty terrible.

Exactly!! I mean just look at the yoga love story scenes there was no chemistry and they weren’t even in a relationship then!!

If you see old shows of Neil the chemistry between him and his co star isn’t that great!!

It’s him and ayesha that are sizzling! They compliment each other very well!

That’s called acting. Real pair not showing chemistry is hard. They are all thorough professionals

I would say chemistry between two people is subjective . I remember I didn’t find any chemistry between one of the popular jodis of ITV while they were many who found them perfect together. Like many here feel SRK can create chemistry with any actress but for me I found SRK romance overreacted and OTT . It’s not my type . He is not as great as some people find him .

It’s not just actors , screenplay, dialogues and direction are required to create chemistry. Some couples naturally look good and they don’t have to do much to create chemistry.

Firstly, I love the fact that we are always trying to avoid being biased about Pakhi. I wish the makers would read these threads!

For me, there was no chemistry between Virat and Pakhi during the yoga resort scenes. And Virat had not even met Sai then, if I'm not wrong.

It is the way the characters are written, frankly. After that, it's the interpretation of the actors.

Surprisingly, though I have watched a couple of serials, I am now getting my cues from Ayesha , a total newbie.

She said she knows Virat very well, Neil may not express himself, but I'm sure he knows Sai very well. They're both working on their characters intelligently.

Sometimes real couples don't come across well on screen. Neil Aishwarya look great as a couple off screen. On screen chemistry requires more than looking good together!

Actually Neil and aish are real couple... Even then I couldn't connect to their scene, there is no chemistry between virat and pakhi mainly bcoz of pakhi expressions I guess.... But I don't know if I am biased ... That's why I am feeling like this...

Immediately there is sairat scene, where there is chemistry naturally....

I think that it is like what Joey once said in Friends. If two people are actually involved with each other in real life, then they won't have on stage chemistry because their passion is being released during all the other times. I don't know how legit it is, but that might be the case with Neil and Aishwarya & the opposite with Neil and Ayesha

SRK once said he can romance even a tree and create chemistry. Still he and Kajol create fire on screen why? I don’t think it is only because the actor is good enough to do it with anyone . Real pairs never enthuse the viewers whereas reel Jodis connect with their awesome chemistry. Sai Virat look real despite being unreal while Pakhi Virat look fake despite being real.
