Child marriage restraint act

Ok buddies after referring few civics related point i am here with ths topic which is more related to our show as current track on this....

Frst i vl say all civical points, the child marriage restraint act was passed in 1929, where it states marriage age of male is 18 amd female is 14.... later age gt extended to 21 and 18 respectively....

Coming to track now makers are showing us, character ARC wanna prevent child marr and wanna make happened marr as illegal.... so i am not sure wth stry starts in which year bt fr sure bfre 1929, bt smewhere i heard its strd in 1920, so as of stry 1year went off so its 1921, and now Bon's age is 12 and ARC 23 becoz in plot it mentioned 11 yr grl marrying 22 yrs guys so after a yr their age is 12 and 23.... if character ARC is trying to implement ths law,then tat came into exsitence after 8yrs as per civics, in tat way Bon vl turn to 20 na, so how can ARC says his marr vl b considered illegal and thy can call off.... and more over if even law comes to act too, its only to prevent future child marr, not the one already happened.... In law anywhere its not mentioned, happened child marr vl b considered illegal and thy can call off that nu so in wat way makers told us,if ths law comes to establishment our marr(Aniditha marr) can be consideted as illegal and she can have her own name....or do makers meant Divorce act or wat.... See, Ani has filed a petition! Usme he can ask for whatever clauses he wants. The clauses he asked for is that child marriage be declared illegal and that all existing child marriages be annulled.

However, the actual act was passed in 1929, also called the Sarda act. In that all future child marriages were declared illegal, while existing child marriages could be annulled with consent from both parties.

So my view is that Ani's petition will be dismissed or withdrawn for now... But he will probably keep campaigning till 1929 in show when the Act will be passed. Tab while his own marriage would not be invalidated. But the parties could ask for an annulment on the grounds of Bon being under age.

No buddy if its past time series all ths have to be shown well na stry in theme of 1920 and nothing related to tat law🤣

Yes, by the time the act passes Bon will be of age. So Ani-Bon will have the option of staying married or anulling it then. What I want is that they anull it and then remarry with full choice.

Buddy just chk it once again i read as thy can Annul it, tat comes under Prohibition of child marr ths law was passed only in 2006, that too minor grl or boy can appeal in court within 2yrs of their marr if thy attain status major

If thy were still minor thn their frnds or guardians ( not parents) along vth prohibition of child marr officers can appeal in court to annul their marr....but all ths act comes in 2006 only na.... so thnk wat vl be the age of ARC and Bon in 2006....

I have been asking everyone here about the divorce law because as per my understanding, if India was under the british rule, then the laws of divorce and annulment would have already been there. In the British history, these laws were there since 16th century (I think. or maybe 17th)

So, I have been questioning this too that why didnt he divorce her before and why suddenly one night he saw a dream and starts all this shadi avaidh bakwas. 🤪

The only conclusion I could come up to was what I mentioned in the first sentence of my comment. 😆

In that case only future child marriages would be illegal. So passing of the act makes no differenc on Rudhita marriage but filing the petition did.

Yes buddy acc to 1929 act only marr happening grl below 14 and boy below 18 is illegal and punishable no annulment of prev.happened marr and divorce act was in intact bt that should have reasons valid like no child ( means varis), dowry and other, reason like kid not valid .... if annulment of child marr na tat came into exsistence 2k6 only so tats not use as of ths stry based....hope makers gt all ths source nu...
