SHAURYA SABHERWAL : The Journey Up Till Now

First let me say that words fall short to describe the sheer brilliance with which Karanvir has been portraying the complex multifaceted character of "Shaurya Sabherwal" and blessing us with such an outstanding and well written character . It is rare to find such a multidimensional character on ITV where each layer of Shaurya's character is slowly explored and unraveled and his each nuances and imperfections are so beautifully enacted by KV with such perfection !!

The show started off with Shaurya being shown as a misogynist and orthodox person with a rude and tough demeanor . We saw how he is expected to play the role model of perfect son to Devi and Tej , perfect intellectual professor and yet all these perfections were expected of him or shall we say imposed upon him . He is shown to be against the decision of his fiancé to study further abroad so much so it results in breaking of his engagement which actually makes viewer see the orthodox mindset that Shaurya had developed all these years . But as they say there's a reason and story behind everything . All these years he was neglected and left alone by both his parents ..and it left a deep harsh impact on his young mind as a child .

We then see how deep inside he is all alone and craves for attention and love and warmth of his parents during that poor kid being fed by his mother scene !! We can truly feel the pain and sympathize with Shaurya ..We see him as a person who was deprived of attention , genuine affection of his parents all through his childhood . His father although being with him was not there for him ! He was neglected , ignored and all these resulted him to create walls of insecurities all around him . And he tries to hide behind this wall as we saw in the scene where Aastha came to hospital to meet Anokhi and Shaurya !! And Shaurya instinctively tries to hide form her to hide his tears and pain as well as relief of finding his mom again !!

As an audience one can truly feel for Shaurya and our heart goes out to him . We see through his opiniated exterior self to find a man who is still stuck with his wounds of childhood and craves for the attention and care that he was deprived all these years . It will truly take lot of efforts to break through this wall of Shaurya and actually reach out to him . And he seeks someone who is willing to go to that lengths and see his true self .

Every person around him expects him to behave in a certain righteous manner and to be understanding to others but no one actually fulfills his expectations nor tries to understand and share his real emotions and loneliness .

There has been such a turn in Shaurya's character from hating him to sympathizing with him !!Truly the journey of Shaurya until now has been immensely beautiful . And Karanvir has taken it up to such high levels through his impeccable performance . Looking forward to how Shaurya's charcter further moulds along this journey .

Thanks to all writers and obviously KV for bringing out such a complex yet beautiful ,flawed yet perfect , imaginary but so realistic character of "Shaurya Sabherwal "

"Professor sahab ye chakkar kya hai ...Nahi matlab samjh mein hai aa raha !! ..AAgG AUR PETROL KA HI SAHI ..LEKIN RISHTA BADA SOLID HAI !!"..."jab bhi aap anokhi ji ke aas paas hote apke maathe pe achanak se baal padne lag jaate hai !!"

SS- "Paani pilata rehta hai ..Khud paani ke andhar doob kyu nahi jaata .. I cant take this I have to leave !!"

"Sab nahi pasand karte woh anookk.. " "USka naam Anokhi hai ..ANokhi bhalla !!"

"Kya magnet wali baat lgon pe bhi apply hoti hai ? Opposites attract ?"

SS-"Hello Mr. Aahir Chttawal ..!! Oh am so sorry !! AAACCEEPP..Apne toh uniform pheni hui hai toh zahir si baat hai aap duty pe honge ..lekin mujhe nahi pata tha ye bhi apke duty ka hissa hai !!"

ACP--"Apko apne job se zyada mere job mein intereset hai .. Bachpan mein aap bade hoke ACP banna chahte the kya?"

SS-" Lagta toh mujhe bhi bahut kuch hai ACP ..Kyunki mujhe aisa lagta hai ki bachpan mein tum banna chahte the ek Girl college ke security guard aur ban gaye officer"

ACP- "Mujhe bhi kuch aisa lagta hai aap banna chahte the critic aur ban gaye professor"

SS-"Critic ho ya professor ...Class aaj tumhari lagne wali hai .. Mind your words!!"

SS-"Darasal meri rai ye hai ki mujhe lagta hai tum apni POWER aur POSITION ka galat istemal kar rahe ho !! Didnt understand !! Lemme Explain !!"

ACP-"kisko.. Kisko impress karne ki koshish kar rahe hai aap.? Chalo thik hai man lete hai apke paas bahut paisa hai... Par iss paison ki garmi ko thoda thanda kar lete hai"

SS-" Aur position ki garmi hai uska kya karoge...?"

"Lagta hai power ki garmi abhi tak apne dekhi nahi... Plz mujhe mazboor mat kijiye mujhe ye garmi apko dikhaun.."

"Toh kar jo karna hai kar... Main yahi khada hun.. Dekhta hun kya karega"

"How strange..! Phool apne aap sahi jagah pahuch gaye.!"

A- Yeh pakka beemar padenge inki halat se hi lag raha hai !!

SS-- Aisa dekh ke lag raha tumhe .. agar meri tabiyat kharab ho bhi gayi na ..toh iski wajah tum hi hone wali ho !!

SS- Tumhe lagta hai mujhe shauk chadha hai evening walk pe nikalne ..

A-App samjhte nahi hai ..

SS- NAhi !!

A- Ya aap samjh na hi nahi chahte ..

SS- Dono !!

A - App college ke director hai ..koi apke face pe kuch nahi kahega but peeth piche baat karenge na kiss kiss ko hum chup karayenge ..

SS- Yehi baat tumhar mujhe samjh nahi ati ...apni baat keh detiho dusron ki baat sunni hi nahi hai na tumhe ...Meri baat ki koi value hi nahi rehti tumhare pass ..

SS- Jo main kehna chah raha hun tum samjh rahi ho na ..EK insaan jiska woh kaam hai woh woh karega na .. naki tumhare aage piche mandrayega .. Agr woh ..woh kar raha matlab uske intentions sahi nahi hai ...Main yeh kehna chah raha hu kya zarurat hai tumhe... Jab tum baat karti ho na aise unecessary toh mujhe acha nahi lagta ..Tum uss officer se kyun baat karti ho woh acha insaan nahi hai ..!!

A- ap itni raat ko baarish mein yeh kehne aaye ho

SS-- nahi main woh kehne nahi aya tha ..woh toh bus baat nikli iss liye keh diya ..

SS- okay toh main keh deta hum ...I mean jab main tumse baat karna chahta hun tab na koi na koi aa jata hai khass kar ki tumhara woh Constable ..

A- constable nahi ACP

SS- haan ACP !!

SS- Samj nahi ata tumhe jo main kehne ki koshish kar raha hun ... I I ..think ..Mujhe lagta hai .. That I am .. But kaise ...

A- apne pura confuse kar diya .. Smajh nahi ata gussa karun yaa....
