Why Imlie demading haq is justified from her pov

For audience, Aditya and anyone else, Imlie demanding haq is just selfish and breaking her promise.

But but but if we think from Imlie's perspective it is totally justified because ...

She is demanding haq due to her history. She is not in love with Aditya, probably doesn't even like him a lot, but she has seen what her mother had to suffer throughout her life.

She has come from an orthodox village (though she tries to stay away from their orthodox mindset) and whatever she has seen in the village, she believes it to be the ultimate reality. A city man left her mother for good by making her pregnant, so the village has sort of outcast her just because she doesn't have her husband's name. Her mother has lived in misery throughout her life and this is the life Imlie is very scared of. That's why she never wanted to get married in the first place.

Now that according to villagers she is married, she fears that she will have to live the same miserable life her mother lived. Remember she still doesn't know how progressive things are in city, so she believes whatever she saw in pagdandiya as the universal truth. So her demanding haq is justified from her pov just because she doesn't want to live like an outcast for the rest of her life.

I also support imlie on asking her rights on Aditya. They are married whether it is forced or not. Forced marriages do happen in india in real life. Spouses don't leave each other just like that. They work on their marriage. Their marriages are very much legit. Adi might not admit but he does thinks of imlie as his wife that's why he feels guilty all the time. Whatever he is doing with imlie & malini is not justified. He is indirectly making Malini his second wife. He just wants ladoos in both his hands. 🤢

Even if they don't accept, at least give Imlie a proper closure and don't send her back to pagdandiya where her life will be hell. She is just 18, she can't go anywhere else all by herself. At least take responsibility of her education and help her get out of her fear. But no, Aditya just wants to send her back to wash his hands off everything 🤬

See here adi has nothing to lose.. he will marry malini and then carry on with his life happily.. but imli is forced to become a maid in his house and leave her mom and come to a city and now she is in a situation where there is no clear future.. so she had the right to ask for her rights.. even if adi doesnt want to be with her he should tell his family and then leave imli in a dignified way respecting her sentiments too and not reducing her to a mere maid.. he could still support her education and future with humanity and marry malini.. even imli mom and uncle know that this was a forced wedding and not with will of imli and aditya .. noone would have forced them to accept the marriage..

Now with all this hiding adi will destroy the life of malini also.. just the way malini dad did with wife by sleeping with meethi.. he destroyed both the lives of meethi and his wife

I do support imlie, here i am copy pasting my thought which i written in another post -

she has full right to claim her right as wife from aditya i do support her even if it's not her dream n reality. whatever she said today was very true, her mom became a mother without a marriage still failed to claim her rights from her father whereas she is legally married then why she shouldn't claim her right from jerkaditya? why jerkaditya didn't resolved this forced marriage before marrying malini? it wasn't needed to tell everything to everyone to resolve it, these two themselves were enough to resolve this forced marriage and get a divorce so that they both can get marry for the 2nd time. but rather doing that jerkaditya is marrying for the 2nd time in front of his 1st wife n not even thinking for a 2nd who will marry her since she is still his wife? that's why i am eagerly waiting to sundar fall for her & gives a marriage proposal in front of everyone & most importantly i want imlie to gives her node to every other marriage proposal so that jerkaditya can get a reality check since marriage won't happen without her mom n her adopted father satyakam.
