The elder son Abhishek had break up with his girlfriend of 4 years. They have a new character of social worker Anagha who is divorcee and her husband rapes her to avenge humiliation his family went through. Most likely they will pair Abhishek and Anagha.

Anirudh is more brutal and honest than Vanraj sometimes. Aru > Anu anyday post revelation I love how she has been handling the family so maturely. Yash and Sanjana also had a sequence on eve-teasing which had a beautiful social message. Abhishek and Anagha will make a great pair. They are both broken and yet trying to stay strong ❤️

Don't know about Marathi version. But I think makers should do slight change in the story.

Marathi version is handling social causes too.

1. They showed the Mamaji (Their Dadi's bro) who came from the village and while the fam tried to hide the reality, eventually the truth was out, and he encouraged Anupamaa to do what is right and divorce his shameless nephew.

2. They showed Isha (Pakhi) getting upset and accidentally walking into a red light area where she is rescued by Shekhar (Anirudh).

3. They showed Anagha who is a victim of domestic violence and rape now, who will be paired against Dr. Abhi (Toshu), giving a message that women can evolve from painful pasts and get a new start.

4. They showed Yash (Samar) and Gauri (Nandini) deal with eve-teasers and how it is a traumatic experience for the girl when she is in an unknown place to want to hit them back.

5. The sons and FIL are strongly standing with Arundhati (Anupamaa) and also propagating for her mental and physical health.

Yash did try talking to his mother about the closeness between the two and how she should be intervening, though not very directly specifically about the marriage, she did not believe him at that time though. He did not want to hurt her + his Kaka (Bua's husband) and Abhi told him not to, hence did not pursue it further, but was mad at them for hiding this.

Kavya did yell at Samar when Vee was scolding him. She was just a pile on then...yet raised her voice.
