First I would like to reiterate that all the characters in GHKPM have so much potential if CVs don't resort to OTT.Every person on this show is make up of life situations they had to face and choices they made.

Here is my perspective of where Ninad comes from.Ninad is always named as the main lead of monkey gang who blindly follow TMK. But that is all to what Ninad is?

Ninad was in army. A fierce fighter and a person who kept his 'farz' above everything. He seems to be a perfectionist as mistakes of microseconds leading to loss of life is part of army life. If not done intentionally one should be emotionally strong enough to learn from it and not take it on heart. But he did. For one inadvertant mistake leading to loss of one of his soldiers's life, he declared himself to be a coward and a life time failure. The trauma was enough to prompt him to take early retirement from army indicating a deep scar on self perception of his competancy.Doting father that he is, he told his son(Virat), "Bete, mere jaisa mat banana. Tumhare kaka jaisa banana."

He idolizes his elder brother Nagesh Chavan, a symbol of valour. After demise of his brother, it should be him who should become head of the family but probably his sense of self competancy has become so low that he gives the throne to his Vahini who is a confidant matriarch. He not only idolizes his brother but his Vahini too (who is leader of the family?) to an extent that he sees to it that everyone else keeps her on pedestal (including his sister (patralekha home scene), wife (all the time) and his only son (when he got GC posting).

Is he second fiddle all the time to his Vahini- NO.He does have views which are different from his Vahini but does not dare confront her as he does not have confidance to take her place if she leaves.

He enjoys fun (1st scene where mohit-karishma dance aftar the news of Virat's GC posting), he does not believe in apashakun (hum army vale apashakun nahi manate."Your small leave is granted' to Samrat), he to some extent tends to give equal treatment to people ( Karishma oats scene) until and unless they don't challenge Bhavani's position.

Question

1.Does Ninand's behaviour with Bhavani indicates his broken self-esteem and hence a leader pleaser attitude towards a authoritarian figure or ricks of emotional infidelity?

2.Has Ninad on purpose married a helpless poor girl so challenge is not created for his Vahini's position or his emotional infidelity towards Vahini?

3.Ninad belittles those (Wife) who can not reciprocate just to satisfy his broken self-esteem (just to feel superior when you feel u r unworthy)?

Would love to hear from you.
