The episode begins with Anupama pleading Babuji that Vanraj did a very wrong thing. He betrayed his wife and he brought shame on this family. But he has done many good things too. He has always supported this family, he has provided for his children and for his parents. He has been a good father n a good son, so just because he betrayed one relationship we can’t ignore that he maintained the others. Just because of one we must not break the other relationships. He will be badly missed as a son n as a father, no one will be happy if Vanraj goes away. Anu pleads Babuji to stop his son but Babuji refuses.
Baa pleads Vanraj that he should not break this marriage or leave this family , he did wrong by going to Kavya. How could he claim he was lonely in this marriage ?? He had his office staff and his clients whom he met daily, he went out of this house daily, so how was he suffocated because of one person ?? He was wrong. Anupama might be uneducated, but she has managed this household for the last 25 yrs, she had given her life n soul to this family. He could work because she was there to take care of this family, Baa spent her days on the swing because Anupama was toiling in the kitchen. If Anupama worked in offices like Kavya Vanraj would have to take care of family needs, if Anu always attended Kitty Parties like Rakhi, Baa would be toiling in the kitchen. She asks Ban to stop seeing Anu’s shortcomings , he had to understand her.
Anu is a very bright n hardworking person, she was burdened with the family responsibilities even since she got married. If they had not done that she might ha e got the chance to study further n be a working woman and baa is sure she would have reached higher than Kavya by now. If she can learn driving a car in one day, she is capable of doing anything . Anupama was not wrong, she pleads. VAn to stop blaming Anu for his mistakes,He was the one who was wrong n he had to stop meeting Kavya and return to his family. His age was not to ready his children’s wedding cards and not run around the court after his won divorce papers.
He asks her to promise he would never met Kavya again.baa is sure that Kavya would not leave him easily but he was the boss he could dismiss her or transfer her or anything else just to keep away from meeting her .Ban then asks even if he did as Baa asked Would Anu for get everything n return to him ?? She is sure she would not , she was too proud n prejudice.
In her house Kavya tries to call Van but he does not take her calls, she wonders what if her ex husband was right ?? Would Van succumb to family pressure n ditch Kavya n go back to his family ?? She gets scared that Van would not come to her Anu more , how would she live with out him ?? She gets very scared n worried.
Baa pleads Anu to forgive her son, she knew what Van did was very wrong. It was unforgivable, one needed a large heart for that , but she knew that zanu did have a large heart n she could forgive him , she would listen to the baa’s begging n forgive him, no one would be happy if he left this family would be broken, only Anu could stop him. Now Anu has baa Babuji, kids with her for company, but soon the kids won’t get married n go away. Baa Babuji also would pass away, then Anu will be left al alone, so for her own sake she should stop Van. Anu gets FBs of Van’s betrayal n refuses to forgive Van say8 g it was impossible to forgive a man after he was caught on her Marital bed with another woman.
Van says he knew Anu was too proud , now she was the the proud owner of this house too. He angrily walks out of the house with his suitcase n bag.The rest of the family witnesses everything n feel heart broken .
Van declares that he was leaving this house. He was going to Kavya , after legal formalities he would marry Kavya . The kids and his parents are distraught at this thought.
Anu says if he was talking of divorce, she was ready for it. She gets FBs of his betrayal , she says from her mind she was divorced from his since a long time now it hardly mattered if it was going to be on a dotted line, Vanraj gets furious n walks out .

Vanraj walks out of the house angrily, he challenges Anupama that he will see how she manages to run this house without him. Running the household n supporting the family were two different aspects. He glares at her as he opens his car.
