The episode begins with Anupama opening the doors of her home. The rest of the family members enter looking glum n depressed , a contrast to the time they had left the house .
Anupama remembers Rakhi’s words , bashing Vanraj n his EMA , breaking Toshu Kinjal engagement , and gets teary eyed . the puts aside her thoughts n gets busy getting some eatables arranged for her family members as all must be hungry . She offers fruits, milk, biscuits to them.
Babuji refuses to have anything. Anu pleads him to have something as he needed to take his medicines . Babuji refuses to listen to her . He accuses Anu of being his bahu not his daughter as they considered her. Why did she not share with them Anu says she wanted to feel the hurt herself n not hurt Baa Babuji . Babuji accuses Anunof hiding facts from her Father in law, she could not become his daughter , his son had faulted , so had his bahu by covering it up .
Anu pleads him to forget what had happened in the past n not dig up the dirty past n get hurt , she pleads him to have milk n biscuits as he needed to have medicines . Babuji finishes off the food in a gulp and his medicines too, then he demands to know how long has this been going on . Anu is unable to say anything . Baa then asks her to speak up now , when she was being asked , the fact the she hid it in the past when they were unaware is forgiven . Why was she not talking now .??
Babuji realises that the his grandchildren also know about all this .
soon Toshu, Samar reveal all to their grandparents. Leela and Hasmukh are very angry n hurt . Later Anupama is howling away in a secluded corner of the house , Leela watches her quietly n feels the pain.
Soon Vanraj is seen driving his car , he appears worried. He screeches to a halt on reaching home, he steps into the house and watches his entire family waiting for him. He steps in dreading their outburst . Leela walks up to the entrance glaring at him, The moment Vanraj utters Baa ... Leela gives him one tight slap throwing him off balance . she shouts at him, never again to call her “baa” she is ashamed of him being her son. She had to bear all the taunts n insults of the likes of that Rakhi only because she had produced a shameless , useless and disgusting son like Vanraj. Babuji glares at his son angrily . The rest of the family are hurt because of Baa Babuji.
Leela Baa then pulls Anu before Banraj n blames herself for never leaving a chance for taunting /insulting this woman ever since she arrived as bahu. Never stopped accusing her for the last 25 years n blaming her for not serving her son properly . Little did she know that this outsider girl was always right and it was her own son who was at fault . She laments that she could become neither a good MIL nor a good mother . But Anupama has considered this has her own family n borne the pain n hurt quietly shielding them from it .
Leela declares this outsider woman has proved to be their daughter n looked after their interests while their own blood , whom they were so proud of has betrayed them . She regrets pampering his so much . She seeks forgiveness from Anupama with folded hands . Anupama asks her not to do this as baa was elder .
At her house Kavya is pacing the floor impatiently n pulling he hair dying to k kw what was happening at Vanraj’s place. She decides tk call him up.
Baa Babuji confronts Vanraj demanding to k kw what he did all this extra Marietal affair , he had marriageable sons, it was his son’s age tk romance not his !! Why did he do this ?? If Toshu or Samar had done this it would be understood as they could make youthful mistakes in life but why did Vanraj to this ?. Leela n Babuji ask Vanraj to speak up . Vanraj shouts that Anupamaa was the reason behind his actions . They forced him to marry a woman who was unfit to stand next to him, leave lone be his life partner. Baa Babuji are ashamed of their son. The rest of the family n Anu are shocked at this accusation.
